PROTESTANT, ROMAN CATHOLIC, ANGLICAN AND EASTERN ORTHODOX RELIGIONS ARE NOT THE SAME THING AS BEING A CHRISTIAN. JESUS IS ALIVE, and is the ONLY head of His universal church (Ephesians 5:23). GOD SPEAKS THROUGH HIS WORD, JESUS (John 1:1; John 14:1; Rev. 19:13)—and the Holy Bible and Holy Spirit teach us and guide us… "When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on His own but will tell you what He has heard. He will tell you about the future." (PLEASE READ John 16:13; and John 8:31-32). Before you dismiss this writing as Catholic bashing, FIND OUT whether or not Jesus actually taught people to give adoration to His mother, Mary, and other things that religions claim come from the Bible. Jesus knew that during the time of the prophet Jeremiah, that people worshipped the "Queen of Heaven" (see Jeremiah 7:18; Jeremiah 44:1-19; Jeremiah 44:25). "Ishtar," which is pronounced "Easter" was a day that commemorated the resurrection of one of their gods that they called "Tammuz," who was believed to be the only begotten son of the moon-goddess and the sun-god. The "Queen of Heaven" aka Semiramis, told the worshippers that when Tammuz was killed by the wild pig, some of his blood fell on the stump of an evergreen tree, and the stump grew into a full new tree overnight. This made the evergreen tree sacred by the blood of Tammuz. Semiramis, the "Queen of Heaven," proclaimed a forty (40) day (LENT) period of time of sorrow and fasting each year prior to the anniversary of the death of Tammuz. Emperor "Constantine the Great" changed the date of Ishtar and separated it from the Jewish Passover, because he hated the Jews supposedly for killing Jesus. But Jesus said, "No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded” (John 10:18). Emperor Constantine also separated the feast of Ishtar from the Jewish Passover, because he wanted to defy God, and did not want to celebrate to the "Queen of Heaven" at the same time that God ordained to observe the Passover and Festival of Unleavened Bread; Exodus 12:17-19 (NLT) 17 “Celebrate this Festival of Unleavened Bread, for it will remind you that I brought your forces out of the land of Egypt on this very day. This festival will be a permanent law for you; celebrate this day from generation to generation. 15 For seven days the bread you eat must be made without yeast. On the first day of the festival, remove every trace of yeast from your homes..." [bold emphasis added] It is equally important to realize that the apostate Jewish woman made yeast breads to the "Queen of Heaven" (Jeremiah 7:18), and this pagan practice continues today—with the making of special yeast breads and desserts during the holi-day season—and especially during Ishtar (Easter). THE ECUMENICAL AND POLITICAL COUNCILS OF THE EARLY CHURCH DEVELOPED THE FALSE DOCTRINES OF THE CHURCH OF ROME—AND LATER THE BISHOPS WERE FOOLED INTO BELIEVING THE "LEGEND OF SEMIRAMIS" DISGUISED AS THE "ASS-UMPTION" OF MARY. The Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, Section 966 (666); 969 (666) promotes the Antichrist doctrine of the Mother-Child Cult of Semiramis and Tammuz—disguised as Mary, and declares her the "Queen of Heaven" Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, Section 966 (666): "Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her son, the lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death."508 The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her son's resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians:" Catechism of the Roman Catholic Church, Section 969 (666): "This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect. Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation..." The Virgin Mary does not continue to bring us the gifts of eternal Salvation—Only Christ is the singular gift of Salvation. The Holy Bible says, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV). Jesus says, "I and the Father are one. (John 10:30). Christ also says in His Word, "He who has seen Me has seen the Father…"(John 14:9). THE PROPHETS JEREMIAH AND EZEKIEL PROPHESIED AT THE SAME TIME (Jeremiah: 627-587 BC; Ezekiel: around 592-571 BC). Jeremiah 7:18 (NLT) 18 No wonder I am so angry! Watch how the children gather wood and the fathers build sacrificial fires. See how the women knead dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. And they pour out liquid offerings to their other idol gods! Jeremiah 44:15-17 (NLT) 15 Then all the women present and all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to idols—a great crowd of all the Judeans living in northern Egypt and southern Egypt[a]—answered Jeremiah, 16 “We will not listen to your messages from the Lord! 17 We will do whatever we want. We will burn incense and pour out liquid offerings to the Queen of Heaven just as much as we like—just as we, and our ancestors, and our kings and officials have always done in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. For in those days we had plenty to eat, and we were well off and had no troubles! READ ON...
