Exercising with Chip Bags and Couch Cushions To get the best results out of The Racer's Workout, I have always said that daily exercise is critical. You need to train your body to want and need physical movement and exertion. This will ensure that you will stick to the main workout. But we all get tired or burned out. Say you had a big race win on Saturday afternoon and you went out with the gang afterwards to celebrate. You got home late and you slept in a little on a Sunday, you had a bigger breakfast than normal and you are feeling pretty whipped. You might have had a long week of work and a hard fun day of racing play, so Sunday is going to be your predetermined relax and potato out on the couch day. No problem! I don't ever want you to feel guilty about not having the pep. Instead let's teach ourselves out to make do, even in our laziest times, and get better and stronger for the track. That’s exactly what this guide is for: working out even when you can’t use a dumbbell, go to the gym, or even leave the couch! Plus, you can have fun with your family and tone your mind and body as well! The goal for you, as a racer, is to create a love of the process of exercise as much as a love for the result. Don’t burn out- burn rubber!
