Beyond the printed page, many of these conversations continue within the Awakened Souls Global Community on Skool, where readers, practitioners, researchers and curious minds from across the world gather to exchange ideas, share discoveries and explore the evolving landscape of human wellbeing.

At its core, Awakened Souls is built on values we hold deeply: curiosity, integrity, collaboration and respect for the many paths through which human wisdom emerges. While this platform was founded by the two of us, it continues to be shaped by a growing global family of contributors, collaborators and readers who share the same curiosity about the nature of human life and the possibilities ahead.

When knowledge, wisdom and human curiosity meet, the conversation about what it means to be human begins to expand.
Consciousness

And perhaps most importantly, Awakened Souls is not only a professional journey for us. It is also a family one. As founders, partners and parents, we are building this platform with the hope that it contributes to a world where knowledge is shared more openly, conversations are more compassionate, and the next generation inherits a deeper understanding of what it truly means to thrive.

Awaken. Remember. Rise.

Lawrence Ellyard

Exclusive Interview

Interviewed by Bear Thomas-Perez. Co-Founder & Executive Publisher Awakened Souls Media

There are conversations that simply inform, and then there are those that invite a deeper understanding of the person behind the work. Sitting down with Lawrence Ellyard is very much the latter.

In a space that continues to expand at pace, often without clear structure or accountability, Lawrence has quietly positioned himself as one of the figures helping to bring both integrity and direction to the global healing industry. As Chief Executive Officer of the International Institute for Complementary Therapists, his role extends far beyond administration. It sits at the centre of a movement that is seeking to professionalise, support, and elevate practitioners across a field that has historically operated without consistent standards.

Yet what becomes clear early on is that his work is not driven by position or title. There is a depth to his approach that can only come from lived experience. Like many who find themselves walking a conscious path, his journey has been shaped through exploration, challenge, and a willingness to question what sits beneath the surface. It is this foundation that allows him to move with both clarity and discernment, bringing structure to a space that often resists it.

There is also a natural bridging in the way Lawrence operates, between spirituality and professionalism, between intuition and responsibility. It is a balance that many speak about, but few embody in a way that translates into real-world impact. Through IICT, that balance becomes tangible, creating a framework that supports both the credibility of practitioners and the evolution of the industry itself.

Beyond this, his involvement in the upcoming New Woo documentary, in collaboration with the Lolli family and Lolli Brands Entertainment, signals a wider cultural shift. One that moves beyond internal conversations within the wellness space and into a broader dialogue around how spirituality is understood, represented, and integrated into modern life.

Based in Byron Bay, a place often associated with conscious living and alternative thinking, Lawrence’s environment reflects much of the work he stands for. Yet his influence is not confined to location. It extends globally, through the practitioners he supports, the standards he helps uphold, and the conversations he is willing to step into.

This conversation is an opportunity to move beyond the surface. To understand not only what Lawrence Ellyard does, but how he has arrived here, the experiences that have shaped him, the philosophies he carries, and the responsibility he continues to hold within a rapidly evolving space.

Lawrence, thank you for taking the time to sit with us. Before we step into the work you are now known for, I’d like to begin at the very start.

Everything I recorded, which turned out to be about her husband, was completely accurate. She said she'd never seen anything like it. That was my first real experience of that kind of perception. I thought, okay, something else is going on here.

I was trained as a graphic artist at the time and had begun working in advertising as a junior art director. I was really dissatisfied with it. I was seeking something more meaningful, more spiritual, and instead I was doing commercial art. I'd come up with what I thought were groundbreaking creative ideas, present them to a client, and they'd go with something safe and boring. I started asking myself whether this was really the path I wanted. I'd pursued graphic design partly because my parents felt I needed a stable income rather than being a starving artist or a musician. I was doing it for them, really.

Was there a defining moment or experience in your early life that first awakened your awareness beyond the material world?

After the mind development workshop, I began getting involved with different healers and people in the spiritual space. I started going to various groups and was invited to a channelling workshop in Subiaco, Western Australia.

I was running late and parked on the wrong side of the road, the only spot available. I rushed inside to register, then realised I'd left my wallet in the car. When I came back out, there was a very expensive parking ticket on my windscreen. I was furious. I went back inside and sat down, visibly agitated. The teacher noticed and asked what was going on. I explained: I was in a rush, I wanted to come to this talk, I parked in the wrong spot, I got a big fine. He looked at me and said, "So you were facing the wrong direction." I said yes. And he said, "Like your life. You're facing the wrong direction."

That was the pivotal moment. I thought, I need to follow my path. The next day I quit my job at a wellpaid up-and-coming agency and decided to pursue a spiritual path full time.

I moved out of home and was looking for a place to live in Fremantle. One day I met a Buddhist monk in the street, as you do, and we started chatting and clicked really well. I mentioned I was looking for a place to live. He said they had room at their place. When I turned up to the address, it was a Buddhist monastery. I figured if it had come into my field, it must mean something. So I moved in, and I ended up living there for over three years, essentially taking on a monastic lifestyle.

Even at church I'd be staring at the paintings and thinking about something beyond religion, this idea of being connected to some kind of divinity.

When I was 11, my real exposure to meditation and mindfulness arrived. My sister's boyfriend, who later became her husband, was of Indian descent and had been one of the head leaders of Transcendental Meditation in Australia. He initiated our whole family. So at 11, I learned TM and began a formal daily practice using a mantra. It was all quite esoteric.

My mother was also very much interested in spirituality and the mystical side of life, even if she was constrained somewhat by a Christian framework. She would go to healing evenings and I'd be taken along as a child. There'd be people speaking in tongues, praying over others, doing healing work. I found it all really fascinating.

When you reflect on your childhood, what were the earliest signs that your path would not be conventional, but guided by something deeper?

I was a very sensitive child. I was attuned to what comes through our ordinary senses, but I would often experience something beyond that: imaginary friends, people I was seeing and speaking to. Not to an extreme level, but I was definitely sensitive to other energies and could always sense something otherworldly going on.

I was also drawn to anything to do with spirituality and martial arts from a very young age. Eastern traditions fascinated me, even though I didn't get a lot of exposure to them. My parents had a couple of coffee table books, those mysteries of the unexplained, and I was always captivated by things like ESP, UFOs, unexplained phenomena. That sense of fascination was just there automatically, without me knowing why.

As a child I felt like I was a bit different to everybody else. I was always seeking the company of older people, elderly people, because I felt I could get wisdom from them. I was quite introverted, but I had this rich inner world built on imagination and possibility.

As a teenager that became even more amplified. I was always interested in mysticism and spirituality beyond what I was being presented with through a Christian upbringing.

Then when I was 18, my parents brought me to a mind power workshop, a three-day event about the power of consciousness and the mind. It was at that event that I saw someone doing Reiki on another person during a break. I didn't know what it was at the time. The person wasn't feeling well and this man was doing energy work on them. I said, can I have a go? I had a splitting headache from all the intense mental work we'd been doing at the seminar, so I lay down and he placed his hands on me. His hands got very hot, only for two or three minutes, and when he took them away, the headache was completely gone. I felt immediately energised and clear.

I assumed this man had been training for decades. I asked him when he'd started his journey as a healer, and he said, "Oh, I did a workshop last weekend." I couldn't believe it. He gave me the teacher's details, and a week later I was at my first Reiki workshop.

It was with a little old lady, really unknown. She was one of the first teachers to bring Reiki to Australia. After the first weekend she said she didn't normally do this, but she wanted to invite me back the following week for the Level Two workshop. So I did Levels One and Two in consecutive weekends, which was unheard of at the time.

When she gave me the initiation for Level Two, she stopped partway through and said, "Something was coming through me to make you a master. I had to stop it and redo it." Then she gave me a photograph and said to send healing to it and write down, with my other hand, whatever I was picking up about the person. I wrote about four pages.

That's where I met my first Buddhist teachers and mentors, received initiations in Tibetan Buddhism and went very deeply into meditative practice.

How did your upbringing shape your relationship with authority, truth, and personal sovereignty?

At the same time, I met the man who would become my shamanic mentor. I was already running a Reiki clinic, teaching stressed-out corporate people in Perth's business district how to relax, when a woman who had trained in Reiki said I should meet a teacher she knew. A shaman. The night before I was due to meet him, I had a dream of a hawk handing me a feather, and in the dream I was both myself and an eagle.

As children, we're shaped predominantly by our parents and siblings, and then by our peers. My mother was really my gateway into spirituality and into things that operate outside of ordinary perception. She was Christian, Catholic, but she was drawn to the mystical and esoteric side of life, and that opened a real door for me.

When I met him, he had multiple PhDs and was extraordinarily academic, someone with many letters after their name, and yet deeply spiritual and fully initiated in North American Indian shamanic traditions and many others. I told him about my dream and he said, "That's interesting. I had the same dream about you." We had met, you could say, on the etheric plane before we met in person. When I sat with him I felt I already knew him, like a reunion. I said I wanted to be an apprentice under him, and he said yes.

That apprenticeship lasted about 25 years, ending when he passed away at around 76 years old.

In parallel, I was travelling the world with my Buddhist teacher, receiving initiations in high tantric Buddhism, running Reiki schools and teaching energy healing internationally, and continuing with Aikido, which I'd been doing since I was a kid and still do today. I also did a three-year diploma and a master's degree in transpersonal counselling and ran a private practice. I trained with qigong masters and studied elements of traditional Chinese medicine.

I had the privilege of being closely mentored across many traditions simultaneously, and of spending time in India, Nepal, Japan and other places of deep spiritual significance. I feel incredibly fortunate to have had access to teachers of that calibre for such an extended period.

My father, on the other hand, is just the most positive person in the world. He read Think and Grow Rich and The Power of Positive Thinking as a young man and has lived by them ever since. I would describe him as annoyingly positive and optimistic, to the point where the worst thing could be happening and he'd say, "Yeah, but it'll change soon." He always found the good in everything, and that heavily imprinted on me. It shaped this orientation of living from possibility and expansion.

Everyone in my family is an entrepreneur, self-made. So that was just modelled as normal. Of course I followed suit.

My second oldest sister was also a significant influence. She was married to the man who initiated me into Transcendental Meditation, and she had experienced a great deal during her time in India and witnessed things that were, by any ordinary measure, extraordinary. She shared those stories with me, and then when I went to India myself and had those experiences firsthand, it reinforced everything.

What those positive role models cultivated in me was a desire to keep upgrading, and a natural tendency toward helping others rather than asking what's in it for me. That's almost a default. I've had to learn, and I'm still learning, to put my own oxygen mask on before assisting others. I tend to go for the other people first. There's a natural generosity there that's always been part of how I show up.

The Dalai Lama speaks about this: there are people in this world who have a big capacity for impact, and that isn't inherently good or bad. Someone can have a tremendous impact in the negative, like a Hitler. Others use that same capacity for profound good. I think I have the accumulated good fortune to have a meaningful impact on a lot of people. I don't say that because I think I'm special. I say it because I've noticed it, and because I believe that if I can use that capacity well, in a lasting and meaningful way, that's worth doing. It's not something I can turn off. It's just how I tend to show up.

Many leaders are shaped by adversity rather than comfort. What challenges in your formative years forged the resilience we see in you today? I witnessed my mother experience a lot of depression and difficulty, and everyone in the family had to work hard to make ends meet. That instilled a strong work ethic, the sense that if you don't put in the effort, you don't get the result. I was also the youngest of five kids, so if you didn't fight for your share at dinner, you went without. My siblings would all say I had it the easiest, being the youngest, with the most opportunity, and they're probably right. But you still develop a certain tenacity from that environment. I don't think adversity is a requirement for greatness, but it can be a powerful medium. It either defeats you or it makes you stronger. The balance is somewhere between extremes, and sometimes people grow through adversity, sometimes through brilliance. Both are possible, and it's very individual. We talk about karma and cause and effect. Some people have the fortunate conditions to accelerate rapidly, others go through sustained challenge before they ripen and elevate. People can emerge from difficult or even abusive childhoods and be destroyed by it, or it can become the very springboard that leads them toward something great. Often, what someone has survived becomes the source of their greatest contribution. We teach what we most need to learn. That's the fuel that drives some of the most powerful work in the world.

BEFORE SPIRITUALITY BECAME A CONSCIOUS PATH, WHAT INNER QUESTIONS OR TENSIONS WERE YOU QUIETLY CARRYING?

I would often look up at the stars and think, there has to be something more than this. As a child I had a deep sense of wonderment and questioning, this feeling that it couldn't just be this.

I was always fascinated by martial arts, particularly from Japan. If I could see anything like that, I was completely hooked. I started martial arts at about six or seven years old, and here I am at 53 still doing it. It's been a constant throughout my life.

I've always been an avid learner, a genuine lifetime learner. I'm always reading, always looking for how I can improve by even a small percentage. What's the next level? That drive has never gone away.

I'm noticing more and more people come to me now wanting to be mentored, and while I'm still working with my own mentors, I do feel I've reached a point where I have something to offer younger generations. Particularly around helping people avoid certain pitfalls. I didn't always have that kind of support myself. There were times when I was younger where I could have benefited from a mature, positive masculine role model. My parents weren't especially hands-on in that way. I found a lot of that guidance through martial arts, with different sensei who were genuinely great models for me.

Can you take us into the moment, or series of moments, where your spiritual awakening truly began to unfold?

There were so many moments. I would visit a holy place and have a full-body experience of the energy there. Something would move through me, an energetic transmission, an initiation that wasn't linked to any particular tradition. I could experience it in Buddhist temples in Japan or Thailand, in Nepal, standing on Machu Picchu. But especially in direct proximity to truly awakened teachers, which I had the privilege of spending time with.

It was like a non-addictive wonder drug that only has benefits. I was just extraordinarily lucky to have access to those opportunities.

What did your spiritual journey truly entail in its rawest form: the challenges, the initiations, and the breakthroughs that reshaped your identity?

Some of the initiations I received from my Buddhist masters were profoundly transformative. We undertook practices from the Tibetan Book of the Dead, a process of conscious dying. I experienced states of total ecstasy, out-of-body experiences, things that changed me permanently. Being blessed at certain holy places with relics from Tibetan Buddhism thousands of years old. Those were incredibly powerful.

But there was also something more subtle. Sitting with teachers from the Vedanta tradition, the teachings of pure mind and pure awareness. Literally just sitting with them and looking into their eyes. There's no ego there. It's completely gone. Just total bliss and awareness. And being in that presence, seeing that there is no separate self. That was remarkable..

My main Buddhist teacher once said to me: if you could see yourself the way I see you, you would walk around with a mirror all day. He saw everybody through the eyes of their absolute Buddha nature, their potential, as if it were already fully realised. He always said the practice is just the process of removing the soot from your eyes, clearing away what's accumulated, until you can see what was already there. Or as he put it, you keep putting on the mask of the Buddha until you can no longer take it off. You become inseparable from that higher state. People often ask, why do I keep attracting the same type of partner who betrays me, or the same difficult dynamic? It's not outward. It's because this is the inner journey that's unfolding. We keep meeting ourselves through others, through outer circumstances, because we need to sharpen ourselves. So whenever there's an obstacle, my response is: good data. That means there's more work to do. Some inner work, some therapy, some somatic work. Whatever helps break through to the next level. I'm always meeting myself whenever I meet someone else. That's still how I see it.

I was extraordinarily fortunate to spend time with teachers like him. And they weren't always comfortable. They were designed to get you out of your ego state and into a higher way of relating to people, to reality, to the world.

As your awareness expanded, what modalities, teachings, or lineages did you explore, and which became foundational to your path?

The main pillars would be Reiki, various forms of meditation, qigong, Chinese medicine systems, martial arts, particularly the inner energy and cultivation practices, Daoist traditions linked to that, and different shamanic practices. Primarily how to enter altered states of consciousness without psychotropics or plant medicines, accessing those states naturally, so you can have experiences that are genuinely otherworldly.

Were there periods of doubt or resistance along that journey, and how did you move through them?

There's a saying I love: the only Zen you find on the mountain is the Zen you took up with you. Or the other one: wherever you go, there you are. I'm always the constant. So when I encounter obstacles or challenges in my life, it's not the outer thing. It's always me.

Once you understand that you are the one creating the pain, the problem, the friction by how you're showing up. Then you can actually work with yourself. And you can't really change anyone else. You can be an inspiration, you can set an example, but what everyone else does is theirs to do.

How do you personally define consciousness, beyond the language often used within the wellness space?

It’s being aware of the one who is speaking. Not the speaking itself, but the watcher who can observe that speaking and listening are happening. From a meditation perspective, it’s noticing that you are noticing. Watching the play of emotions or thoughts and being able to say, how interesting, there’s anger at play, rather than collapsing into it and saying I am angry. You’re not the anger. You’re having an experience of agitation, of energy moving. The emotion isn’t you. That distinction is everything.

A useful image: our potential is like the sun. It’s always shining. But there are clouds, rain, wind, storms. Mindfulness, elevated consciousness, is rising above the cloud line. And then, oh. The sun was always there, still shining.

Our Buddha nature is always present. It’s just obscured by our ignorance, our conditioning, our past traumas, our disturbing emotions. The practice is purification, clearing away what’s covering what was already there.

And there’s a practical dimension to this. If I’m constantly focused on my own problems, I get more of them. But if I shift the orientation: how can I be of service, of support, of kindness to others? Then suddenly I have meaningful work to do. My disturbing thoughts stop being my boss and start working for me.

What did you have to unlearn in order to step fully into your truth?

I had to unlearn pride. As a young man I had a degree of exclusive pride, a comparison-based sense of being better than others. I eventually understood that inclusive pride is far more powerful. The idea that look how great we are, together. Exclusive pride is a lonely place. You’re always in bad company. Inclusive pride fosters connection, collaboration, and the possibility of elevating more people at once.

The other thing I had to cultivate, more than unlearn, was compassion and patience, both for others and for myself. Being kind to myself when I made mistakes, and I made plenty.

I’ve also been described as an agitated founder. I wanted everything yesterday. So learning patience with myself and with conditions that aren’t yet optimal. That’s been real work. Dropping agitation, dropping the exclusivity, becoming more genuinely inclusive as a result.

There’s also an important note on spiritual materialism. Some people are very outwardly identified with being seen as spiritual, seeking recognition, accolades, visibility. A more mature spirituality does the good thing without seeking acknowledgement. In Japanese there’s a term for this: intentoku, doing good in secret. The person who puts the bins out because it needs doing, not because they want credit. That’s integrity. Integrity is what happens when no one’s watching. I try to live by that, though I’m definitely a work in progress.

How have your teachings and spiritual insights directly influenced the structure, ethics, and direction of IICT?

I think conscious leadership rests on collaboration, on seeking to understand before being understood, and on showing up consistently as a role model for the values you espouse. It’s not what I say. It’s what I do. It’s not one demonstration every six months. It’s daily. Conscious leadership means doing the hard thing and showing up authentically with it. Getting help when I need it.

Demonstrating values through behaviour rather than proclamation. Kids don't look at what you say; they look at what you do and build their behaviour from that. It's the same in a workplace. If you want to create a culture of transparency, you have to be transparent. If someone likes to operate in the shadows, they'll be immediately visible in a culture like that. There's nowhere to hide. And it comes back to that question: is your future self proud of your actions right now? If the answer is no, that's a signal to look at your behaviour. In terms of IICT specifically: if I take the orientation off myself and focus on what's going to genuinely benefit our members, that's where progress happens. If I'm thinking about how people will admire me, that's quite empty. I've found that the byproduct of genuine service is this: show up consistently and in an integral way, and value comes back. Maybe not immediately, maybe not from the person you were kind to directly. But it accumulates. And it comes back.

What practices, philosophies, or lived experiences have most profoundly shaped your spiritual framework today? Countless things, honestly. But the biggest has been the privilege of spending time with truly awake teachers, people who are deeply in service to others, not for financial gain but simply because that's how they're oriented. And over time, those people attract increasing support, because that's how it works. What's most striking about those teachers isn't anything they say. It's the presence. Sitting with someone whose egoic identity has dissolved completely. Looking them in the eyes and seeing that there is nothing there in the ordinary sense, just total bliss and awareness. Something happens in that meeting. That's not easily described, but it's transformative.

Emptiness gets a bad press in the West. The first Westerners to encounter Tibetan Buddhism thought they were a bunch of devil worshippers obsessed with nothingness. But emptiness isn't bad. What naturally arises out of true emptiness isn't more emptiness. It's joy, bliss, creativity. Things decay and break down, but that becomes the fertiliser for the next thing to grow. We break down the less useful parts of our identity to create space for new things to arise in consciousness. That's what spiritual practice is fundamentally doing. And if the cup is already full, there's no room for anything new. The old Zen story: the young student comes to the master wanting to learn everything. The master makes tea and just keeps pouring after the cup is full, tea spilling everywhere. The student protests. The teaching: you have to empty the cup before something new can come in. You can't fill something that's already full. That applies everywhere: to parenting, to leadership, to learning. Consistency over time is where the merit accumulates. Whether it's building muscle or building a relationship, you don't get it from showing up once every six months. The dividends come from the daily practice.

It's an opportunity to lift credibility in an industry that's fairly unregulated. Having a clear code of ethics, principles we genuinely live by, invites people to feel aligned to a larger vision and to choose to belong to it.

What we're building with IICT is a home for the many and varied wellness modalities. We have the largest modality list in the world. The opportunity is for people to gather under a unified, very broad banner, to have a sense of belonging and connection. To be part of a tribe. We all inherently want to belong to something or someone or a principle.

And it's not limited to one occupation or one country. It's a global community. That's inclusive pride in practice: look how great we all are, together. What's common among us is that we're all here in the profession of service, wanting to support health and healing in the world. We're all playing our part in that.

If we can elevate the standards across the whole industry, it means complementary therapies get taken more seriously. They become a genuine addition to healthcare, not instead of traditional approaches, but alongside them. More people can be reached in meaningful ways. More avenues become available. That's the real impact.

What was your original vision for IICT, and how has that vision evolved as consciousness itself has become more mainstream?

I always started with a big vision. That's why I called it the International Institute for Complementary Therapists. I was in Western Australia at the time, living in the little town of Fremantle. I could have called it the Fremantle Institute. Or the Australian Institute, since we were only operating in Australia. But I thought: I want this to reach more people. So I'll start big and live into that vision.

And that's what happened. The first country we opened in, beyond Australia, was New Zealand. Then the UK. Then we extended across parts of Europe, then the US and Canada. Now we're opening in South East Asia, and with the new tech stack we're building, we're looking at rolling this out to every country in the world. It truly is international.

We have a running joke internally: if we cover the whole world, then we have to go to space next. So the Intergalactic Institute for Complementary Therapists. And in the future, who knows, we'll probably have colonies.

There's a lot of siloing. People going it alone. This idea of my way is right and everyone else is wrong, or our modality is the best and everything else is inferior. Anything that operates from absolutes like that is flawed.

You can work very hard by yourself for a very long time, or you can bring the right people together, people who want to contribute and collaborate, and create something far more meaningful. Where people join forces, that's where the greatest growth is possible. We're stewarding that process by providing a platform where like minds can come together and connect. Enough of the right minds in the same space can create real, lasting transformation.

If people stay siloed and keep looking at how they're different from one another rather than what connects them, the impact is limited. Bring the right people together and the scale of what's possible changes entirely.

It comes down to principles. Those principles become your pillars, the structure by which you do your work. And within that structure, there's room for fluidity to express itself through interactions, through who you naturally resonate with, through how things evolve.

Think of it like a house. The walls and the ground are your principles, the structure by which you run the business and live your life. The fluidity is how you decorate the house. The colour of the paint, the plants, the small whimsical choices that make it yours. One is more masculine in nature: structure, containment. The other is more feminine: flow, creativity, expression. Like rocks in a stream. The water finds its way around them, but it also shapes them over time.

I would like to see complementary therapies become genuinely integrated into mainstream healthcare. The best of both worlds.. You go to your doctor and they're looking at your nutrition, your emotional wellbeing, perhaps recommending Chinese herbal medicine or probiotics alongside or instead of pharmaceuticals. They're asking what's causing the physical imbalance, not just treating the symptoms. They're considering trauma therapy, or breathwork, or whatever is most appropriate.

I actually think the intuitive, feminine principle is far greater than the structure in terms of raw creative power. That's where possibility lives. Even Einstein, considered one of the great structuring minds in history, said creativity is the highest form of intelligence. And then quantum physics comes along and expands everything even further.

Often physical symptoms are driven by emotional and mental states. The person is stressed, not sleeping, and that's what's causing the breakdown over time. A truly holistic approach doesn't just treat what's presenting. It looks at what's contributing to it. Emotionally, spiritually, mentally.

But without structure, you have nothing to hold the thing. You can't fill a shopping trolley with beach sand. You need a container. So your principles are the foundation, and within a good foundation, you can build something beautiful. Play with the sand. Make sand castles. But without the ground, you can't build anything that lasts. That's the future of medicine and wellness. Not one or the other. Both.

The New Woo documentary represents a pivotal moment in how spirituality is perceived globally. What truth or narrative are you most committed to bringing through this project?

The film is an opportunity to bring together the world's great thought leaders, each operating in their own individual realms, and give them a shared global platform. To unpack a world of wellness for a broader mainstream audience.

The things that were considered woo woo years ago are becoming more and more commonplace. People talk openly now about meditation, mindfulness practice, therapy for trauma, breathwork. There's an evolution underway. And I think humanity is at a tipping point, particularly with the rise of AI. We go online and we no longer know what's real. What is real is human connection, how we show up in presence with one another, in person or remotely. As AI evolves, I think people will have a stronger pull toward what connects us as humans. And what the film can do is bring together the leaders who are doing that work, each broadcasting from their own space, and give them a unified, powerful medium to reach people at scale. The same essential message, expressed through many different voices. That's how you create real noise and reach.

What drew you personally to collaborate with the Lolli family and Lolli Brands Entertainment on this initiative?

There's a lot of positive momentum around this. People hear the concept and they want to be part of it. That's the energy you want behind something like this. Then it's just about mobilising as many brilliant people as possible to become broadcasters of the same message, each from their own rooftop, but all pointing in the same direction. You get a lot of noise that way. A lot of reach. And you cut through a lot of clutter.

How do you see the intersection of media, storytelling, and consciousness shaping the next decade?

We're drawn to entertainment. We want to consume content. So the question becomes: what kind of content are we consuming? Put good inputs in, get good outputs out. Put rubbish in, get rubbish out. Bring together people who are like-minded and want to create something positive, and that becomes good medicine. The more of it that exists, the more it trains and encourages others to do the same. It becomes a perpetual cycle of inspiration, expanding horizons, bringing more light. Which is what humanity has always needed. This idea of birthing a genuinely new paradigm. That would be a remarkable outcome.

Serendipity, really. Though I don't believe in chance meetings. I think it was a meant-to-be moment, driven by a greater vision to bring the whole world of wellness together under one roof.

It wasn't something I had to pursue. I floated the idea, almost spontaneously, of creating a film about the wellness industry. I met with Anthony and Teresa Lolli and they just said, what's your idea? Entrepreneurs think like that. And when I said we could call it The New Woo, they lit up.

Every time I've shared that name, the response has been the same. People get it immediately. And if enough people respond the same way to something, it probably has something to it.

Contact: Find Lawrence at myiict.com or follow him on Instagram at @lawrence_ellyard. The New Woo is currently targeting a late 2027 release.

What do you hope people will feel, not just understand, after experiencing New Woo?

I hope they come away feeling that there is far more possibility than they realised, and that they feel genuinely empowered to take positive steps toward their own health and wellbeing.

The film is a smorgasbord. You go on a journey with different thought leaders, each sharing something profound. And then you cherry-pick what resonates with you and go deeper from there. We're being very selective about who we bring in, people we would happily send our own friends and family to. The people who shine the brightest, clearest light.

There is often tension between scepticism and belief in this space. How do you navigate bridging science, spirituality,

By bringing credibility to the modalities being shared. I don't expect people to take anything on face value. They should be curious. They should apply some rigor. And there have been many serious scientific studies into the effects of these practices. Over time more of that will come to light.

The sceptics will always be there, and honestly that's not a bad thing. I would encourage people to check these things out for themselves rather than accepting anything at face value. See if it works for you. If it does, great. If it doesn't, also great. There's no right or wrong. There are different things that resonate with different people at different times.

Health and wellbeing are inherently bespoke. We're all unique. We all have complex, nuanced situations. What works brilliantly for one person may do nothing for another. It's about finding what works for you, and that's absolutely not a one-size-fits-all space.

Not everything on the buffet will appeal to you. That's why there's variety. But if you don't know what's on offer, you can't make a choice. That's half the battle: knowing that other possibilities exist.

We cover over 1400 wellness occupations at this stage. Which tells you something about how many ways there are to support a human life. There are many ways to bake a cake, and it's good to have a decent-sized recipe book. Take responsibility for your health and wellness through education, through exposure, through understanding that there's a whole world of possibility out there. Find what aligns with your heart and mind. Take the necessary steps. And then you become a beacon for others.

The byproduct of genuine service is value that always returns.

YOU DON’T NEED TO FIX YOURSELF, YOU NEED TO REMEMBER YOURSELF

By Sam Tejada

There’s a moment that happens for almost everyone at some point in their life.

It’s quiet. Easy to miss if you’re busy enough.

The Illusion of “Fixing” Yourself

But it sounds something like this:

We live in a culture that teaches us to constantly optimize.

There has to be more than this. More than the routines. More than the stress. More than the constant cycle of trying to feel better, do better, be better… and still feeling like something is missing.

I’ve spent years in the world of health and wellness—working with thousands of people, building a company around optimization, and having deep conversations with doctors, scientists, biohackers, and spiritual thinkers on my podcast.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

There’s always another supplement. Another protocol. Another routine that promises to make you sharper, leaner, more focused.

Push harder. Sleep better. Eat cleaner. Do more.

As someone who lives and breathes in the modern wellness space, I know firsthand that it has done a world of good. It continues to open up conversations that weren’t happening before.

But, it can also become another form of noise.

Most people aren’t broken. They’re disconnected.

Don’t get me wrong I believe in these tools. I use them. I’ve built a business around providing them.

But you run the risk of looking outside yourself for answers you haven’t slowed down enough to hear within.

True optimization is about understanding your own patterns and asking better questions: What actually gives me energy? What consistently drains me? When do I feel most clear, focused, and grounded? What am I ignoring that I already know?

The answers are rarely found outside of you. They’re uncovered within you.

You don’t need to become someone else. You need to reconnect with who you already are.

The Moment That Changed How I See Health

Before I was in the wellness space, I was a firefighter / paramedic.

In that world, you’re trained to respond fast.

You assess, stabilize, and solve. It’s about action, doing whatever it takes in the moment to keep someone alive. And I remember thinking, early on, that health worked the same way. Something’s wrong? Fix it. Symptoms show up? Treat it. Then move on.

But there were moments that stayed with me. Moments where we would respond to the same individuals over and over again. Different emergencies on the surface but underneath, the same patterns. The same stress. The same lifestyle. The same disconnection.

We weren’t really solving the problem. We were interrupting it.

That realization didn’t hit all at once but it stayed with me.

Because it made me start asking a different question: What’s happening before the emergency?

Most people don’t have an energy problem. They have a safety problem.

Your Body Is Not Separate From Your Mind — It’s an Extension of It

This is where I believe the future of wellness really lives not in choosing between science or spirituality, but in integrating both.

Awareness is powerful.

But awareness without action leads to frustration.

On the other hand, action without awareness leads to misalignment.

When you combine the two, something changes.

You start to see yourself more clearly. Your biology reflects your lived experience.

Every stressor, every habit, every thought pattern, every environment you’ve adapted to, it all leaves a signature in your system.

Your nervous system keeps score.

Your hormones respond.

Your brain adapts.

That’s why I’ve always believed in using tools not as answers, but as mirrors.

I’ve seen the power of advanced diagnostics bloodwork, body composition scans, metabolic testing, and brain mapping. These tools give us clarity. They show us what’s happening beneath the surface.

They don’t define you. They reflect you.

They help translate what your body has been trying to say all along.

You’re no longer guessing.

You’re making decisions based on understanding.

What I’ve Learned From Listening. Really Listening.

Through years of conversations both in my work and on A Healthy Point of View podcast I’ve been exposed to radically different perspectives on what it means to be well.

I've had the opportunity to sit down with an incredibly diverse range of guests: medical doctors, neuroscientists, biohackers, spiritual leaders, entrepreneurs, and people who have completely reinvented their lives.

And what stood out to me was how these people from completely different worlds were often pointing to the same truth from completely different angles.

Different languages. Same message. You can’t heal a body you’re disconnected from. You can’t optimize a life you’re not fully present in.

A Conversation I Haven’t Been Able to Shake

There was a conversation I had on my podcast with a guest who had spent years studying both human performance and emotional resilience.

At one point, they said something simple but it stayed with me:

Most people don’t have an energy problem. They have a safety problem.

And the more I thought about it, the more it made sense.

If your nervous system doesn’t feel safe, it doesn’t matter how well you eat, how much you sleep, or how many supplements you take.

Your body will stay in protection mode. Always scanning. Always bracing. Always conserving.

And from that state, real healing doesn’t happen.

That conversation shifted how I started looking at everything.

Because it reinforced something I had already seen but hadn’t fully put into words yet:

You can’t force your body into performance.

You have to create the conditions where it feels safe enough to return there.

Your body is constantly communicating with you. But most of us were never taught how to listen. Functioning isn’t the same as thriving. Your body is always speaking. The question is… are you listening?

Where Awareness Becomes Power

This is where everything starts to shift. Not when you find the perfect protocol. But when you start paying attention. Real attention.

Your Body Is Not the Problem — It’s the Messenger

One of the biggest shifts for me personally and professionally was realizing that symptoms aren’t just problems to eliminate. Something to silence. Something to fix as quickly as possible so we can move on.

They’re signals.

What I’ve seen over and over again is that people chase solutions before they understand their own signals.

Fatigue is a signal. Brain fog is a signal. Stress, anxiety, low motivation it’s all feedback.

To your energy. To your patterns. To what feels aligned and what doesn’t.

And when you combine that awareness with the right tools whether it’s diagnostics, data, or even structured routines you stop guessing.

You start understanding. Not just what to do… but why.

You Are Not a Formula

One of the biggest misconceptions in modern wellness is that there’s a right way to do it.

There isn’t. There’s your way.

And your way is constantly evolving. What supports you now might not support you later.

What drains you today might not have affected you before.

That’s not an inconsistency. That’s awareness trying to catch up with change.

You Don’t Have to Become Someone Else to Become Yourself

We spend so much of our lives trying to become better versions of ourselves.

For a long time, I thought that meant becoming someone new. Stronger. More disciplined. More optimized.

But the deeper I’ve gone through my own experiences, through the people I’ve worked with, and through the conversations I’ve had I’ve started to see things differently.

The people who feel the most grounded… the most energized… the most themselves… aren’t the ones doing the most.

They’re the ones who have removed what doesn’t belong.

The noise. The patterns. The expectations that were never theirs to carry.

And what’s left isn’t something they created. It’s something they remembered.

So maybe the real work isn’t adding more to your life.

Maybe it’s subtracting everything that made you forget who you were before the world told you who to be.

And learning moment by moment to trust what’s still there.

Danielle Pashko: Integrating Faith and Consciousness

Guest Expert Danielle Pashko The SoulHakker INTEGRATING FAITH AND CONSCIOUSNESS TO MOVE FROM CHRONIC ILLNESS TO KUNG FU

For most of my career, I lived in the world of health as people understand it, nutrition, protocols, optimization. I built a practice rooted in functional medicine, spent decades studying the body, and worked with clients who trusted me to help them heal. From the outside, it looked like I had mastered wellness.

I became independent, resilient, and capable. I learned how to function at a high level very early on. I was bartending underage, giving chair massages at an illegal gambling club until 4 in the morning and I also doing other random jobs to make ends meet while still in high school.

But quite honestly, the most important work I’ve ever done had very little to do with food. It was internal and it began long before my career ever did.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t processing anything. I was storing it. Experiences like that don’t just live in your memory, they imprint on your body. The grief, the instability, the pressure to grow up too quickly become your baseline. A nervous system that is always on, always anticipating, always bracing. From the outside, I was high-functioning. Internally, I was in a constant state of fighting to just get by with no help.

I lost my mother when I was thirteen and had an absent father, and not long after, I was living on my own in New York City, paying rent at sixteen. There was no space to process grief in a traditional way. Life kept going and I was thrown into being an adult and adapting .

But quite honestly, the most important work I’ve ever done had very little to do with food. It was internal and it began long before my career ever did.

As I built my career in health from at just 19, I leaned into what I could control. I became disciplined, had a serious Ashtanga yoga practice. I was a Vegan, and deeply immersed in the science of healing. I worked professionally alongside top practitioners, Shamans, Gurus, renowned physicians, followed the right protocols, and helped others improve their health. Unfortunately my own body told a different story. Despite my healthy lifestyle, I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 31. Then Lyme disease. Autoimmune challenges. Neurological symptoms that intensified after COVID. There was a point where nothing I was doing, at least externally, was enough.

And that’s when everything began to shift. Because when you reach that point, when you’ve done everything right and nothing is working, you don’t just look for another answer, you keep going (at least I did because my life depended on it)

For me, that perseverance was deeply rooted in faith.

There were moments where I had nothing left but that. I would cry out to my creator every single day, asking, pleading, to heal. Not in a passive way, but in a way that was raw and honest. I made a promise that if I could get through it, if I could truly heal, I would give back in a meaningful way. That my work would not just be about success, but about service.

That shift is what led me to my teacher, Sifu Gary Tong. Working with him was not just about learning a martial art. It was about learning how to be in my body in a completely different way. At the time, I was far from physically strong. There were moments when I could barely make it around the block. But something in me knew this was part of my healing. Before my body could do it, my mind had to see it. I began practicing mental rehearsal, consistently, intentionally. I would visualize myself as a martial artist, moving with strength, precision, and ease.

I think that’s something we don’t talk about enough. People ask for help. They ask to be healed, to be guided, to be shown the way. But there’s another layer to that exchange, one that requires responsibility. A willingness to use your gifts, your experiences, even your pain, in service of something beyond yourself. That became part of my healing too.

I saw a version of myself that didn’t match my current reality, but felt real somewhere deeper. I was stepping into that identity before I had evidence of it. I had only watched kung fu movies with my estranged father as a kid. I often describe it as seeing myself in the 5D, in the quantum field where who we are exists before it fully materializes. It wasn’t about escaping reality. It was about expanding it.

At the same time, I began to understand that this wasn’t just physical. Trauma doesn’t simply live in the past. It lives in the body. It lives in the nervous system. And no amount of perfect nutrition or supplementation can override a system that is living in the fight or flight. For much of my life, I equated strength with pushing through. But healing required something very different. It required me to slow down, to turn inward, and to begin building a relationship with my body that wasn’t rooted in control, but in connection.

Through my training in Qigong and Tai Chi, along with getting strong enough to learn Wing Chun Kung Fu, I wasn’t just rebuilding strength. I was regulating my nervous system. I was teaching my body something it hadn’t known in a long time. Confidence in my body. It’s something I practiced, over and over again, until my body began to believe it "you are well" Over time, that became my new definition of success. Not how much I could push through, but how rooted I could feel. Not how well I could control my body, but how deeply I could listen to it. Not how quickly I could fix something, but how willing I was to understand it. I still believe in nutrition. I still believe in science and biohacking. I have all the shiny toys as well, But I no longer believe they are the full picture. Strength is built from within.

The work I do now reflects that understanding. It’s not just about optimizing health. It’s about helping people understand the deeper why behind what they’re experiencing. It’s about reconnecting to the body, regulating the nervous system, and creating the internal conditions where healing can actually occur. You have to be so careful with your thoughts, what you believe and don't let anyone else determine your ability to heal.

While my journey It began with faith. It deepened through embodiment, and it continues through the commitment I made—to use everything I’ve been given in service of others.

THE MAN BEHIND THE MISSION

Some men don’t follow a path. They are forged by it.

For Jason Young Stiles, this wasn’t a career pivot or a calculated move into wellness, it was a continuation of a life lived at the edge of human limits, where pressure doesn’t break you… it reveals you.

Before iPyramids became a global force in energy, health, and performance, there was a man conditioned in one of the most elite environments on Earth.

As a USAF Pararescueman, Jason was trained not just to endure chaos—but to operate within it. To stay precise under pressure. To access reserves most people never discover.

You’re pushed to the point where everything in you says stop,” he reflects. “And then something deeper takes over… and you realise, you’re not even close to done.

That realisation didn’t stay on the battlefield.

It became the foundation.

Because what Jason uncovered wasn’t just resilience, it was access. Access to energy. To clarity. To a level of human performance that most never tap into.

iPyramids isn’t a product of curiosity.

It’s the result of a man who refused to accept the limits placed on the human body, the human mind… and the human field itself.

JASON YOUNG STILES

An in-depth conversation with Jason Young Stiles, founder of iPyramids, exploring the intersection of sacred geometry, energy technology, and the future of human health, wealth, and performance.

Before iPyramids existed, who were you at your core?

Before iPyramids, I was driven by intensity, mentally, physically, and spiritually, constantly pushing limits. But there was a deeper tension within me, a gap between what I was told reality was and what I intuitively felt it could be.

That tension became the catalyst. It pushed me to question systems, explore beyond conventional paths, and ultimately build something different. iPyramids was not just a business idea. It was the natural result of that internal pressure to find truth.

Oftentimes the thing that creates the biggest fear response is your ultimate purpose in life. You just need to get through the belief programs holding you back.

Daily Practice

Pay attention to what creates tension in your life, not stress, but pull. Journal on this question: What do I feel called toward that I am not acting on?

That tension often points directly to your purpose.

How did your experience as a USAF Pararescueman shape you?

My time as a Pararescueman completely rewired my understanding of human capacity. The training is designed to break you, physically, mentally, and emotionally. From drown-proofing to extreme endurance events, you are pushed far beyond what you think is possible. But what you realize is this: The human body and mind are capable of far more than we have been conditioned to believe.

That gave me an unshakable foundation. Resilience is not a trait, it is something you build.

Daily Practice

Train your resilience intentionally. Take cold exposure, push through a difficult workout, or do something mentally uncomfortable every day. Growth happens just outside your comfort zone.

When did you realize conventional approaches to health weren’t enough?

That realization came when I was studying pre-med and metaphysics at the same time while being prescribed multiple medications for injuries and anxiety.

I started to question it. The pills were masking symptoms, not solving the problem and they were disconnecting me from my body.

Through alternative medicine and metaphysical studies, I began to understand that the body has an innate ability to heal when the environment is right. That’s when I shifted from symptom management to system optimization.

Daily Practice (5 Pillars of Self-Healing):
  • Detox (reduce toxins food, environment, inputs)
  • Nutrition (revitalize whole, living foods)
  • Rest (quality deep sleep = repair)
  • Exercise (stimulate circulation + energy)
  • Earth + Sun (grounding + sunlight exposure)

These aren’t trends they’re biological fundamentals.

We do it in our sleep. So, this provides that extra supplement that the body is looking for while it’s already repairing and doing the healing process. We just give it a little extra boost.

What did pain teach you that achievement never could?

Pain forces introspection. When things are going well, you don’t question much. But when you’re in deep pain physically or emotionally, you start asking bigger questions. You turn inward. You seek meaning, connection, purpose. Pain strips away illusion. Recovery then becomes more than healing it becomes transformation. Not just of the body, but of identity.

Daily Practice: When you’re in discomfort, don’t avoid it observe it. Ask: “What is this trying to teach me?” That question alone can shift pain into growth.

What belief about health did you change?

I used to believe health was something managed externally through doctors and prescriptions. Now I understand that health is fundamentally energetic. As Dr. Jerry Tennant explains, healing is voltage. The body’s ability to heal is directly tied to cellular energy. If your energy is low, healing slows down. If your energy is optimized, the body functions as designed.

Daily Practice: Check your “voltage” daily: Do you feel drained or energized? Are you clear or foggy? Support your energy with: hydration, detox, rest, exercise, and connection to nature (earth + sun). Small shifts = massive biological impact.

When did curiosity about frequency turn into conviction? It became conviction through direct experience. After attending a conference in 2011, I used a sound therapy frequency for back pain instead of medication. I felt a physical sensation exactly where the issue was. That moment changed everything. It went from theory… to something I could feel.

Daily Practice:

Experiment with frequency: Try breathwork with sound Listen to calming frequencies Pay attention to how your body responds Experience builds belief.

  • Try breathwork with sound
  • Listen to calming frequencies
  • Pay attention to how your body responds

What problem is iPyramids solving in the modern world?

iPyramids addresses a core issue: We’ve built a system focused on managing symptoms instead of creating conditions for healing. What we’re offering is an alternative not just to pharmaceuticals, but to the entire approach. Instead of a medicine cabinet full of pills, we’re moving toward frequency-based, energy-based tools that support the body’s natural state. At the same time, we’re addressing the environment: Enhancing energetic coherence Reducing EMF interference Creating spaces that support regulation instead of stress

Daily Practice:

Start with your environment: Turn off Wi-Fi at night Reduce screen exposure before bed Create one calm, intentional space in your home Your environment programs your biology.

  • Turn off Wi-Fi at night
  • Reduce screen exposure before bed
  • Create one calm, intentional space in your home

Pyramids are an introduction to what I call biologic architecture designing environments that support life at an energetic level.

Benefits often reported:

  • Enhanced mental focus
  • Calmer brainwave states
  • Deeper meditation
  • Increased dream vividness / lucid dreaming
  • Greater energetic coherence
Daily Practice:
  • Meditate in a structured, intentional space
  • Add geometric forms (even small ones) to your environment
  • Track your focus, sleep, and dream clarity

Geometry isn’t just visual it’s functional.

Why pyramid geometry? What does it offer?

Pyramid geometry is where this all began for me intuitively.

It came through dreams to the point where I became obsessed with it. I started studying it, testing it, even building a pyramid over my bed.

Then I found research, including work by Dr. Fred Bell, showing:

  • Extended biological lifespan (brine shrimp experiments)
  • Increased plant growth and yield
  • Energy concentration within geometric structures

And when you zoom out there are thousands of pyramids across every continent.

That tells us something: Our ancient ancestors understood the importance of geometry.

What does nervous system regulation actually look like?

Regulation is coherence. Dysregulation is chaos.

When you’re dysregulated:

  • Anxiety
  • Brain fog
  • Reactivity
  • Fatigue

When you’re regulated:

  • Calm
  • Clear
  • Focused
  • Adaptable

We’ve actually measured this.

Using the Bio-Well system:

60 seconds of breath + gratitude → ~10% increase in coherence

15 minutes with iTorus frequencies → ~30% increase (biofield alignment, chakra balance, and even pain reduction)

This aligns with research from the HeartMath Institute on heart-brain coherence.

Daily Practice (1-Minute Reset):
  • Slow your breathing
  • Focus on your heart
  • Feel gratitude

Do this for 60 seconds you will feel the shift.

How do you help skeptics understand invisible fields?

I make it tangible.

We use:

  • Bio-Well imaging (before/after changes)
  • Magnetic flux and tri-field meters
  • Hands-on magnet demonstrations

People can feel the field through magnets responding to it.

I also built a magnet spinner to show that the field isn't just pulsing-it's rotating in a toroidal pattern.

And one of the most powerful demonstrations:

With the right frequency and amplitude, we can levitate a one-inch magnet inside the iTorus 5.

When someone sees a magnet floating in space That's no longer a theory. That's experience.

Daily Practice:

Test something yourself:

  • Search for antennas in your area on line search
  • Measure EMFs in your environment
  • Pay attention to how your body feels in different spaces

Direct experience dissolves skepticism.

Do you believe the environment plays a greater role in disease and vitality than most people realize?

Absolutely—on multiple levels: biological, environmental, and even psychological.

There are even documented cases where adopted children begin expressing disease patterns- such as cancer risk—aligned with the behavioral and emotional environment they were raised in, not their genetic lineage. That tells us something profound:

• Biology is responsive, not deterministic.

Then we look at physical environment:

  • Chronic EMF exposure
  • Toxins in air, water, and food
  • Lack of sunlight and grounding

These all contribute to nervous system dysregulation and cellular stress.

At the cellular level, health is tied to mitochondrial function and ATP production, the energy currency of the body. When energy is low, systems begin to fail. When energy is optimized, the body regains its ability to regulate and repair.

Modalities like PEMF are being explored for their role in supporting cellular communication and energy production, but even without technology, the fundamentals remain the same:

Energy + Environment = Outcome

Daily Practice (Environment Reset Protocol):

  • Get 10-20 minutes of sunlight daily
  • Walk barefoot on natural ground (when possible)
  • Filter or upgrade your water source
  • Reduce EMF exposure at night (Wi-Fi off, airplane mode)
  • Clean up your mental environment (limit negative inputs)

Your body is constantly adapting-make sure it's adapting to something supportive.

Modern science is now confirming what many ancient systems already understood: your environment directly programs your biology.

In the field of epigenetics, researchers like Dr. Bruce Lipton have emphasized that gene expression is not fixedit is influenced by environment, behavior, and perception.

Where do you draw the line between optimization and obsession?

Optimization should create freedom. Obsession creates dependency.

There's a point where improving your health, performance, or awareness becomes counterproductive, when it disconnects you from presence, relationships, or peace.

True optimization is about alignment, not control.

If your routines make you more grounded, more clear, more present-you're on the right path. If they create anxiety when disrupted, you've crossed into obsession.

Daily Practice (The Checkpoint Test): Ask yourself: Does this practice give me energy or take it? Does it expand my life or restrict it? If it feels like pressure instead of support, simplify.

Mastery isn't complexity-it's clarity.

What responsibility comes with creating technology that influences human biology?

It's a massive responsibility.

Any technology that interacts with the human body-especially at the level of energy, frequency, or environment-must be approached with integrity, transparency, and intention.

For me, the responsibility is twofold:

  1. Accessibility — making sure more people can benefit from it
  2. Education — making sure people understand how to use it properly

In the beginning, I was building everything by hand in a basement. Then I scaled-training teams, building systems, growing production in Sedona.

Now the challenge is: How do we scale without compromising quality—and reduce cost so more people can access it?

Because technology like this shouldn't be exclusive.

Daily Practice (Responsibility Lens): Before adopting any new wellness tool, ask: Do I understand how this works? Am I using it intentionally or just following trends?

Empowered users get better outcomes than passive consumers.

Do you think modern society is becoming more conscious, or simply more stimulated? Both-but consciousness is rising faster than ever. Yes, we are more stimulated constant information, constant input, constant distraction. But at the same time, we are more connected and aware than any point in human history. We now have: Instant global communication Access to knowledge at scale Exposure to multiple perspectives That accelerates evolution. Technology itself is a reflection of consciousness-it's the manifestation of human imagination into physical reality. As consciousness expands, so does the sophistication of the tools we create. The real question is: Are we using technology consciously—or letting it use us?

Daily Practice (Conscious Consumption):
  • Set intentional time blocks for media
  • Take 1 hour daily with no phone or input
  • Replace passive scrolling with active learning

Awareness grows where attention goes.

If someone feels exhausted, inflamed, or disconnected from themselves, where should they begin?

Start with removing interference. Most people don't need morethey need less. Modern life is overloaded: EMF saturation Environmental toxins Constant stimulation Chronic stress This creates a state of system overload, which leads to disconnection. The fastest way back is through nature. Nature resets your baseline. When you step away from artificial environments and return to natural rhythms— sunlight, fresh air, earth you begin to feel yourself again.

Daily Practice (Reset Routine):
  • 20 minutes outside daily (nonnegotiable)
  • Barefoot grounding when possible
  • Morning sunlight exposure
  • Silence (no input) for at least 10 minutes

The more you reconnect with nature, the more you reconnect with yourself.

Final Closing

What does strength mean to you now compared to your military years?

Strength used to mean endurance.

Now it means awareness.

In the military, strength was about pushing through-physical resilience, mental toughness, the ability to endure extreme conditions.

That still matters-but it's incomplete. Now I see strength as:

  • Emotional intelligence
  • Self-awareness
  • The ability to regulate your internal state

Because the strongest person in the room isn't the one who can push the hardestIt's the one who can remain calm, clear, and in control under pressure.

Daily Practice (Modern Strength Training):

  • Practice emotional regulation (pause before reacting)
  • Train your breath under stress
  • Build awareness of your internal state throughout the day

Strength is no longer just force. It's control, clarity, and consciousness.

FINAL CLOSING

The future of health may not come from a single discovery.

It may come from a shift in perspective. From treating the body... to understanding the system.

And from asking a better question:

What happens when we stop fighting the body... and start supporting it?

From Density to Frequency: The Body’s Shift from 3D to 5D

By Dr. Lisa Piper, PhD, DNM & Wendy Cohn-Osborne

“The CODE Girls”

There is a shift happening, and many people are feeling it before they can fully explain it. It shows up as heightened awareness, increased sensitivity to environments, foods, and energy, and a growing desire for simplicity. There is often a reduced tolerance for anything that feels heavy, toxic, or misaligned. For some, this manifests as anxiety or overwhelm. For others, it feels like awakening. From a spiritual perspective, this shift is often described as a movement from 3D to 5D, a transition from density to frequency, from survival to coherence, and from force to flow. But what if this is not just spiritual language? What if this shift is also biological?

As the founders of CODE Health, our work lives at the intersection of science, consciousness, and real-world application. Dr. Lisa’s background in natural medicine, energy healing, and mind-body awareness brings a deep understanding of the body as an intelligent, responsive system. Wendy’s decades of experience in business, healthcare innovation, and strategy bring that understanding into form, making it accessible, practical, and scalable for everyday life. Together, we have observed that the human body is not just adapting to its environment, it is evolving in how it communicates within it.

The body is becoming more sensitive to information.

In what we often refer to as a 3D paradigm, the body is viewed primarily as mechanical and chemical. Symptoms are treated in isolation, and interventions are designed to suppress, override, or control. The focus is on structure, mass, and measurable outputs.

This is the world of density, where the body tends to operate in survival mode. The nervous system is frequently locked in sympathetic dominance, stress becomes normalized, inflammation becomes chronic, and disconnection from the body becomes common.

From both professional and practical perspectives, we see the result of this every day. When communication within the body becomes inefficient, signals are delayed, distorted, or ignored, and the body compensates. Over time, this compensation leads to symptoms that are labeled as dysfunction, when in reality, they are messages asking to be understood.

In contrast, what we describe as a 5D paradigm shifts the focus from structure to communication, from chemistry alone to the integration of biology and biophysics, and from treating symptoms to understanding signals. This is the world of frequency, where the body is recognized as an electrical, informational system. Every cell carries a charge, every organ system communicates through electrical and electromagnetic signaling, and the nervous system, heart, brain, and immune system rely on rapid informational exchange to maintain balance.

All of this communication occurs within a water-based environment. Over seventy percent of the body is composed of water, and that water serves as the medium through which signals travel. When the body is in a state of coherence, communication is clear, systems are synchronized, and energy flows efficiently. This is experienced as clarity, resilience, and vitality. When the body is incoherent, communication breaks down, signals become noisy, and systems fall out of rhythm. This is experienced as fatigue, anxiety, inflammation, and imbalance. The shift from density to frequency is, in many ways, a shift from incoherence to coherence.

Many people today report feeling more sensitive than ever before. They notice stronger reactions to food, stress, environments, and even other people’s energy. From a consciousness perspective, this is an expansion in awareness. From a practical standpoint, it is also a signal that the body is no longer tolerating misalignment the way it once did. What once went unnoticed is now felt immediately. What once could be suppressed now demands attention. This is not weakness, it is refinement. The body is asking for a higher level of coherence.

At the center of this shift is the nervous system. The autonomic nervous system determines whether the body is in a state of survival or regulation. In a density-based state, many individuals remain locked in chronic fight-or-flight, where the system is reactive, protective, and overwhelmed. In a frequency-based state, the nervous system becomes more regulated, allowing access to parasympathetic function, where healing, repair, and restoration occur. This is not simply about feeling calm. It is about creating the internal environment where coherent communication can take place. When the nervous system is regulated, signals flow more efficiently, hormones balance, immune function improves, sleep deepens, and the body begins to heal. This shift also changes how we approach medicine. In a densitybased model, symptoms are suppressed, pain is blocked, inflammation is chemically reduced, sleep is induced, and anxiety is numbed. In a frequency-based model, the goal is to support the body’s communication. The question becomes not how to silence symptoms, but how to improve signaling. At CODE Health, this understanding led us to develop information-based drops designed to support the body’s communication systems. Dr. Lisa’s work in conscious energy medicine and mind body awareness laid the foundation for this approach, while Wendy’s focus has been on translating that vision into a modern, accessible medicine cabinet that families can actually use. Delivered through a water medium, these formulas provide coherent informational input that works with the body’s innate intelligence. Rather than forcing change, they support communication.

In practical terms, this means supporting the body where it needs it most. RECOVER supports the signaling involved in muscle repair and recovery. REACT supports balanced immune responses to environmental triggers (allergies). CALM supports autonomic nervous system regulation and clarity. DREAM supports the neurological signaling required for restorative sleep. PROTECT and RESILIENCE support coordinated immune communication. RELIEF supports balanced signaling associated with discomfort, including headaches and PMS. SLIM supports appetite signaling and helps reduce cravings by improving communication between the gut and brain. BREATHE supports respiratory signaling for clear, efficient airflow, and BALANCE provides daily foundational support, helping the body maintain coherence across systems.

What makes this approach so powerful is its simplicity. From both a clinical and lifestyle perspective, simplicity is what creates consistency. Because this system operates through signaling rather than chemical dose, the same single drop works regardless of size or weight. It is safe for people and animals of all ages, including infants, toddlers, the elderly, and even during pregnancy.

There are no side effects and no known contraindications because nothing is being forced. The body is simply being supported in doing what it already knows how to do.

The movement from density to frequency is not about leaving the physical body behind. It is about becoming more embodied within it. It is about listening more closely, responding more intelligently, and living more intentionally. It is about recognizing that thoughts are signals, emotions are signals, and the environment is constantly communicating with us. The body is responding in real time to all of it.

When we begin to honor this, we move out of resistance and into alignment. We stop fighting the body and start working with it. We stop asking how to suppress symptoms and start asking how to restore communication. This is the true shift, not just spiritually, but biologically. You are not just matter. You are frequency. You are consciousness. And as your body becomes more coherent, more regulated, and more aligned, you do not just feel different. You function differently. You live differently. You become the embodiment of the evolution itself.

JOURNEY THROUGH THE SPECTRUM: UNVEILING THE MYSTERIES OF THE 7 CHAKRAS

Do things at your own pace. Life's not a race.

EMBODYING THE ROOT CHAKRA

Returning to the Foundation Within

Stability is not something we chase. It is something we remember when the body finally feels safe enough to soften into the present moment.

Dear Radiant Souls,

There is a part of you that has never needed to rush, prove, or force its place in the world. It exists beneath the noise of expectation, beneath the layers of pressure, quietly holding you in a steady presence that does not demand anything from you. This is the energy of the Root Chakra, the foundation of your entire being, shaping how safe you feel within your body and within your life.

Known as Muladhara in Sanskrit, this energy centre anchors you into the physical world, governing your sense of stability, belonging, and survival. Before creativity awakens, before emotions are fully expressed, the body asks a far more fundamental question, and it asks it constantly, whether you are aware of it or not. Am I safe here?

Located at the base of the spine, the Root Chakra forms the ground beneath everything else. It is not concerned with expansion or expression. It is concerned with support, with steadiness, and with the quiet reassurance that you are held.

BALANCE AND IMBALANCE

The Foundation of Safety and Stability

When the Root Chakra is balanced, there is a quiet steadiness that moves through every part of life without needing to announce itself. The body softens in ways that are almost unnoticeable at first, the mind begins to slow, and decisions are no longer driven by urgency but guided by a deeper sense of trust. Life does not suddenly become perfect, but it becomes more manageable, more grounded, and more real.

When this centre is out of balance, the experience shifts in ways that can feel subtle at first and then increasingly overwhelming. There may be a constant undercurrent of worry, a sense of needing to stay alert, or an inability to fully relax even when nothing is immediately wrong. For some, this appears as anxiety or overthinking, while for others it may show up as control, rigidity, or resistance to change as a way of trying to create safety.

These patterns are not flaws or weaknesses. They are the body’s attempt to protect itself and restore a sense of stability.

The creative adult is the child who survived.
Ursula K. Le Guin

Relationships deepen because there is less need to protect or defend. The future feels less overwhelming because the present moment no longer feels unstable. There is space to breathe, to respond, and to experience life without constantly bracing for what might come next.

SIGNS YOUR ROOT CHAKRA MAY BE BLOCKED

Energy within the body rarely stops entirely. Instead, it becomes restricted or misdirected, and this imbalance often reveals itself through shifts in our sense of safety, stability, and connection to the physical world. When the Root Chakra becomes blocked, many people begin to notice changes in their relationship with security, grounding, and trust in life itself. Physically, this may present as fatigue, tension in the lower body, or a lingering sense of heaviness. The body can feel unsettled, as though it is carrying stress that has nowhere to release. Emotionally, it often appears as anxiety, fear, or a persistent sense of insecurity. There may be a quiet but constant worry about finances, home, or the future, even when there is no immediate threat. Mentally, a blocked Root Chakra can lead to patterns of overthinking centred around survival. The mind may fixate on control, struggle to feel safe in stillness, or remain in a heightened state of alertness that never fully switches off. Behaviourally, this imbalance can show up in extremes. Some may cling tightly to control through overworking or overplanning, while others may feel scattered, disconnected, or unable to take consistent action. Spiritually, many people describe a sense of disconnection from the Earth and from their own foundation. Life can begin to feel unstable, as though something essential is missing beneath the surface. These signs are not failures or weaknesses. They are messages from the body’s intelligent system, guiding us back to grounding, safety, and inner stability.

HEALING THE ROOT

Healing and Strengthening the Root Chakra

The process of healing the Root Chakra is not dramatic or overwhelming. It is built through quiet, consistent moments of reconnection that gradually restore a sense of safety within the body. When you bring your awareness back to your physical presence, whether through stillness, movement, or connection to the Earth, the body begins to respond in ways that feel both natural and deeply grounding.

Spending time in nature, walking barefoot on the ground, or simply pausing long enough to feel your breath moving through your body begins to re establish a relationship with stability that may have been lost or overlooked. Movement also plays an important role, not as something forced or structured, but as something steady and intentional that allows the body to feel supported rather than pushed.

Breath becomes one of the most powerful anchors in this process. When you slow your breathing and bring awareness to the lower body, the nervous system begins to receive signals of safety, allowing tension to soften without resistance.

Stability is not created through control. It is created through consistency.

Nourishment, rest, and routine also play a vital role in this healing. The body responds to what is predictable, what is steady, and what feels supportive over time. This is not about becoming someone different. It is about returning to a state that has always been within you.

Healing begins not through force, but through awareness.

INTEGRATION

Returning to Ground

A balanced Root Chakra is nurtured through simple, consistent acts of self connection that gently bring the body back into a sense of stability. Time in nature, steady routines, and moments of stillness all contribute to strengthening this foundation, not through intensity but through repetition and presence.

Even the smallest shifts can begin to change how you experience your day. Slowing your pace, feeling your breath, and allowing your body to exist without pressure or urgency creates space for grounding to take place naturally rather than being forced.

Over time, these practices begin to create a different relationship with the world around you, one where safety is not dependent on external circumstances but is cultivated from within.

To reconnect with the Root Chakra is to remember that you are allowed to feel safe in your own life.

To come into the Root Chakra is not to become someone new, but to stand fully as you are without the need to brace, rush, or hold yourself together. When this centre begins to stabilise, everything else shifts naturally, allowing creativity, emotion, and connection to flow with greater ease.

The Root Chakra reminds us that before we expand, before we express, and before we become, we must first feel safe enough to simply exist within our own experience.

When that safety is present, life begins to feel less like something to manage and more like something to move within.

You were never meant to live in survival mode. You were meant to feel supported by your own life.

As we complete this journey through the body’s energy centres, you are always invited to return to each part of this series at your own pace, revisiting previous issues to deepen your understanding and reconnect with each layer of your being.

With love and light,

How the Body Experiences Trauma (Biology of Trauma )

What our survival responses are really trying to tell us — and why understanding the biology of trauma changes everything.

By Dr.Aimie Apigian, MD, MS, MPH

The sound of skidding tires cut through the quiet morning. In the next thirty seconds, Elena's body would execute a precise and instinctual biological sequence — one that has kept humans alive for millennia. Her head snapped up from her phone. A car had lost control on the wet road and was sliding right toward her. Her heart pounded. Her posture straightened. She gripped the wheel, pumped the brakes, and turned hard. But she couldn't get out of the way. She froze, staring at the oncoming car.

What happened next became fragmented for her. Time slowed. The impact went blank. She lay on the ground, strangely disconnected, her body heavy and chilled. Voices around her sounded dreamlike and distant. She wanted to tremble — her body needed to — but embarrassed, she blocked it.

Elena healed from her physical injuries over the following months. But the rest of her didn't. Morning drives filled her with dread. She snapped at her daughters in ways she never had before. A year later, she was diagnosed with lupus. It felt like it came from nowhere. She searched for answers and eventually found her way into my work on the biology of trauma. Her story — the car, the freeze, the autoimmunity — is not a coincidence. It is a sequence. And once we understand that sequence, everything changes.

What Trauma Actually Is

We have spent decades defining trauma by the event. The accident. The abuse. The loss. But the event itself is not what creates trauma in our body. Two people can live through the same experience and walk away completely differently — one expanding, one collapsing.

Trauma is what happens inside our body as a result of what happened to us. More specifically, it happens when our body crosses what I call the critical line of overwhelm — the precise internal threshold where a challenging experience stops growing us and starts breaking us.

The Two Reasons We Cross the Line

Too much too fast: The demand arrives faster than our body can prepare to meet it — like a car accident, a sudden diagnosis, or a devastating loss.

Too little for too long: The demand isn't crushing at first, but there is never rest. Gradually, our reserves deplete until even ordinary challenges tip us into overwhelm.

By adulthood, most of us are experiencing both at once.

Stress energizes. It is supposed to. When we face a challenge we can meet, our body surges with activation. Our thinking sharpens, our muscles engage, our senses heighten. We are built for this. But when the demand exceeds our capacity — either too much too fast, or too little for too long — we cross that line. The body shifts into a completely different operating state.

That shift is what we call trauma. And it follows a precise, universal sequence.

The Five Steps Our Body Takes

When our body senses a life threat — whether physical or emotional — it executes five sequential steps. Every time. In every body. These steps are not personal weakness. They are our ancient, hardwired survival programming, stronger than logic and faster than conscious thought.

1.The Startle — Our nervous system detects potential danger and immediately interrupts everything else. This is involuntary. It is our body buying itself a fraction of a second to assess.

2.The Stress Response — If danger is confirmed, our body mobilizes. Heart rate surges, muscles engage, senses sharpen. This is healthy activation. We are ready to respond.

3.Powerlessness — When our best efforts are not enough, our body encounters powerlessness. Elena turned the wheel and pumped the brakes — and still couldn't stop it. This is the pivotal step. Powerlessness is what crosses the critical line.

4.The Freeze — Our body enters a conservation state, narrowing focus to survival essentials. Time distorts. Movement stills. The broader world becomes distant.

5.The Shutdown — Our deepest survival mechanism. The body becomes heavy, numb, disconnected. This is not weakness. It is our biology doing exactly what it was designed to do — protect us when nothing else can.

The specific trigger matters far less than we think. A car accident, a childhood of chronic emotional neglect, a shattering diagnosis — these are wildly different on the outside. Inside, the body moves through the same five steps. We are more alike than different. And the aloneness we feel inside a trauma response is one of its cruelest features — because this very response is what makes us human.

Our body has a line — a precise point where growth turns into overwhelm, where challenge becomes too much, where stress transforms into trauma. Recognizing that line changes everything about how we approach our healing.

The Inner Calculator Trauma Lives in the Cells Alex walked into the conference room laughing with colleagues. The CEO said two words — "We're restructuring" — and Alex froze. His colleagues asked questions and took notes. He couldn't form a single thought. He stared blankly the rest of the day. He was confused. He was an effective manager. This response seemed completely illogical. Why had those two words hit him so differently? We tend to think of trauma as emotional. As something in our mind, our memories, our psychology. What Elena's lupus, Alex's freeze, and Claire's years of chronic fatigue teach us is that trauma is also biological. It reaches all the way down to our cells. What Alex didn't yet understand was neuroception — a term coined by Dr. Stephen Porges. Neuroception is our nervous system's constant background calculation of safety and danger. It works beneath conscious thought, assessing our inner state and our environment at every moment, deciding which of three operating states will best serve us right now. When Alex heard "restructuring," his neuroception made a rapid calculation. His capacity. The perceived demand. And the gap between them. That gap had a history — six months living in a station wagon at age eight, wearing unwashed clothes to school, helplessly watching his parents suffer. His critical line of overwhelm sat in a different place than his colleagues'. And that morning, it got crossed. This is why two people can sit in the same room, hear the same announcement, and have utterly different responses. The determining factor is never the event. It is always the internal experience — the distance between capacity and demand in that moment. Each of our cells has its own version of the critical line of overwhelm. When stress arrives, our cells activate — they power up, increase energy production, mobilize their defenses. This is growth. But when the demand is too much or lasts too long, our cells engage what is called the cell danger response. Mitochondria downregulate energy production. Resources shift entirely to protection. Normal cellular functions shut down. This is not a malfunction. This is our cells doing exactly what they were designed to do. But when this state persists — when the cellular shutdown becomes chronic — we begin to see it in our symptoms. The fatigue that doesn't lift. The immune system that turns on its own body. The digestive system that stops cooperating. The nervous system that fires danger signals long after the original threat is gone. This explains something critical: talk therapy alone often hits a ceiling. When we process the story without addressing the biology underneath, we are asking our mind to solve a problem that also lives in our cells.

The Inner Calculator

Trauma Lives in the Cells

Alex walked into the conference room laughing with colleagues. The CEO said two words — "We're restructuring" — and Alex froze. His colleagues asked questions and took notes. We tend to think of trauma as emotional. As something in our mind, our memories, our psychology. What Elena's lupus, Alex's freeze, and Claire's years of chronic fatigue teach us is that trauma is also biological. It reaches all the way down to our cells.

Each of our cells has its own version of the critical line of overwhelm. When stress arrives, our cells activate — they power up, increase energy production, mobilize their defenses. This is growth. This explains something critical: talk therapy alone often hits a ceiling. When we process the story without addressing the biology underneath, we are asking our mind to solve a problem that also lives in our cells.

The Whole Body Coordinates

Laura startled violently when her three-year-old son hugged her from behind. Hot coffee splashed across his bare hands. Her husband recognized the scene immediately — he had triggered the same response countless times simply by walking into a room unexpectedly. Laura was embarrassed and confused by her own reactions. She thought it said something broken about her.

What was actually happening was a masterpiece of biological coordination. Our body operates in three whole-body states — calm-alive, activated, and shutdown — and in each one, every system participates. Digestion, immune function, heart rate, metabolism, social engagement, hormonal balance. Every organ, every tissue, every system unites behind a single purpose.

In calm-alive, we rest, digest, connect, and create. In activation, everything surges for speed and action. In shutdown, every system shifts to survival. Laura's startle wasn't just anxiety. Her whole body was still operating as though danger was present. Her neuroception had not received the message that she was safe.

This is why healing from trauma requires more than changing our thoughts. Our altered biology now holds the danger signals. Our own body has become the environment of threat.

The Three Ways We Survive the Unbearable

When our body crosses into the shutdown — when powerlessness is complete — three survival mechanisms engage to keep us alive. They operate at every level simultaneously: mind, body, and biology.

The first is dissociation — a disconnection between our conscious awareness and our body's experience. Time fragments. The self feels distant. Elena's dreamlike memory of the impact was not a brain malfunction. It was a precise act of protection.

The second is numbing — a biochemical dampening of pain signals. Our body releases its own opioids, reducing both physical and emotional pain below the level of conscious awareness. We may not even know how much we are carrying.

The third is energy conservation — a wholesale withdrawal of metabolic resources from non-essential functions. The body redirects everything to its most primitive survival priority. This is why chronic trauma produces such profound fatigue, cognitive fog, and loss of joy. Our body is paying a survival tax.

These mechanisms save us lives in the acute moment. The question is what happens when they don't turn off — when our nervous system continues to run these programs long after the original threat has passed. When survival becomes a permanent state instead of a temporary one.

Elena's lupus, Alex's boardroom freeze, Claire's fatigue, Laura's startle — they are not separate problems. They are variations on a single theme. The body's attempt to survive what felt unsurvivable, still running on an old program, waiting for the signal that it is finally safe to stop.

That signal exists. And learning how to give it — how to work with our body's survival intelligence rather than against it — is where healing begins. Our body is not the problem. Our body has been the solution all along. It simply needs a new message.

Shungite: Ancient Carbon, Modern Protection

ANCIENT CARBON, MODERN PROTECTION SHUNGITE

SOME STONES DO NOT ASK TO BE NOTICED. THEY DO NOT COMPETE FOR ATTENTION, AND THEY DO NOT REVEAL THEMSELVES QUICKLY. OVER TIME, THEY MAKE IT CLEAR WHY THEY SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD.

SHUNGITE

THE QUIETER SOMETHING IS, THE MORE YOU HAVE TO MEET IT WHERE IT STANDS.

There are stones people are drawn to instantly, usually because they align with what is already expected. They catch the light, they present colour, they confirm what the eye has been taught to recognise as something valuable. Shungite does not do that. It does not perform visually, and for that reason it is often overlooked at first glance. Matte, dark, and almost unassuming, it gives very little away, which is precisely why it asks more from the person holding it.

The first time I sat with it, there was no clear reaction I could point to, no immediate shift that could be named or turned into a story. What stayed with me was something quieter. I noticed that I did not rush to put it down. There was no urgency to move on from it, and that absence of urgency felt unfamiliar in a world that constantly pulls attention elsewhere. It was not doing something to me. It was removing the need to look for something happening.

That difference matters more than most people realise, because most interactions today are built on stimulation. Shungite sits outside of that pattern. It does not compete, it does not demand, and it does not try to be anything other than what it is.

ORIGINS BENEATH TIME

Shungite formed nearly two billion years ago, placing its origin in a time long before the world developed anything resembling its current form. This is not a detail added for effect. It changes the way the material should be understood. Before forests, before animals, before the layered biological systems that now define life, this mineral was already forming under pressure, through geological processes that unfolded slowly and without interruption.

It is found primarily in the Karelia region of north western Russia, particularly around Lake Onega, where conditions allowed for the formation of deposits that remain distinct from more familiar carbon materials. While it shares its elemental basis with coal or graphite, Shungite’s internal structure is far more complex. It contains carbon in forms that continue to draw scientific attention, including fullerene-like structures that are rarely found occurring naturally.

That alone places it in a different category. Not something that needs exaggeration, not something that needs to be romanticised, but something that stands on its own material reality.

BEFORE IT WAS EXPLAINED, IT WAS USED

Long before Shungite became something people studied, it was something people worked with. Not as an idea, but as a material woven into daily life. In the regions where it was found, stones were placed into water because something changed when they were. That change was not described in scientific language, but it was recognised through repetition. The water felt different. It tasted different. It held a quality people trusted enough to continue the practice.

By the early eighteenth century, this had developed far enough that Tsar Peter the Great established one of Russia’s first therapeutic spas near Shungite deposits. Water exposed to the stone was used in health treatments, not because it had been fully analysed, but because it had already been observed and relied upon.

This is a pattern that appears again and again in the history of natural materials. People notice first. Science explains later. The space between those two moments is often where the most grounded knowledge sits, because it comes from lived interaction rather than theory alone.

The practice did not disappear. It continued quietly, carried through regions and generations without needing formal recognition. Long before it returned through modern interest, it had already established its place through consistent use rather than explanation.

Scientific interest in Shungite focused heavily on its carbon structure, particularly after the identification of fullerene formations within the material. These are hollow carbon molecules whose discovery reshaped modern chemistry and earned a Nobel Prize. Their presence in Shungite does not make the stone extraordinary in a mystical sense. It makes it structurally significant in a way that connects directly to material science.

Its interaction with water has also been studied more closely. The surface of Shungite allows for adsorption, where certain substances bind to it, contributing to filtration processes that align with its historical use. This is one of the rare areas where traditional practice and scientific understanding meet without contradiction.

What stands out is that Shungite does not need belief to hold its place. Its composition alone carries enough weight. It is not dependent on interpretation in order to be taken seriously.

STRUCTURE THAT HOLDS ITS OWN

WRITTEN BY AWAKENED SOULS MAGAZINE © COPYRIGHT.

WHY IT STILL MATTERS NOW

The relevance of Shungite today has less to do with rediscovering the past and more to do with understanding the environment we now live in. Modern life is saturated with input. Devices, signals, constant communication, layered expectations, and an uninterrupted stream of information have become so normal that most people no longer question the effect it has on the body.

This does not always show up in obvious ways. It builds gradually. Attention becomes fragmented. The body holds tension without a clear source. Reactions extend longer than they should. People adapt by continuing, without separating what they are experiencing from what they are carrying.

Shungite enters this environment quietly. It does not interrupt, and it does not attempt to counteract everything around it. What it does is introduce something that does not participate in the same pace. It remains consistent within a space that is constantly shifting.

That contrast becomes useful, not because it forces change, but because it makes certain patterns more visible.

It does not ask you to step away from modern life. It sits within it, unchanged by the pace around it. That is where its value becomes clear, not as an escape, but as a point of reference in an environment that rarely holds still.

WHERE CULTURAL MEANING AND MODERN USE MEET

Across different cultures, darker stones have often been associated with grounding and protection. This is not arbitrary symbolism. It reflects how people interpret material qualities through experience. A stone that absorbs light rather than reflecting it, that feels dense and steady in the hand, naturally becomes associated with containment, stability, and the ability to hold rather than amplify.

Shungite fits within that understanding without needing to be forced into it. For those who work with energy or spiritual systems, it is often connected to the root chakra, which relates to grounding, physical presence, and stability within the body. This does not need to be treated as fixed belief to be meaningful.

In more practical terms, people place Shungite in their environment, near workspaces, near devices, within areas where they spend long periods of time. Others use it more intentionally, holding it during meditation or keeping it in rooms used for rest, depending on how it naturally fits into their environment.

For most people, it begins simply. A single piece placed within the space where they spend the most time. Not moved, not overthought, just present long enough to become familiar. From there, its role becomes clearer through use rather than instruction.

WHAT YOU ARE LEFT WITH

By the time you reach the end of Shungite’s story, what remains is not a single conclusion, but a clearer sense of proportion. It places modern life into context. It reminds you that materials exist which have endured beyond anything we can replicate, and that understanding them requires more than a surface glance.

It also leaves a quieter question behind. Not about what the stone is doing, but about what you begin to notice differently once you have spent time with it. The way you move through a space. The way you hold attention. The way you carry what you encounter. That is where its relevance becomes personal. Not as something added, but as something recognised.

You do not need more input. You need more awareness of what is already there.

With love and light,

DROP: RAISING CHILDREN WITHOUT CARRYING YESTERDAY

DESIGNED BY AWAKENED SOULS MEDIA

DROP: Raising Children Without Carrying Yesterday

By Holly Swenson BSN, RN | Award-Winning Author

There is a quiet truth many parents carry, but rarely say out loud: even in the middle of a beautiful life, family dinners, bedtime routines, laughter, and footsteps pitter-pattering down the hallway, it is possible to feel elsewhere. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally tethered to something that came before this moment. A past version of yourself. An experience that never fully settled. A wound that perhaps still vibrates beneath the surface.

In my Stop, Drop, Grow, & Glow framework, the concept of DROP, the second step of my framework, speaks directly into this space. It is not about abandoning or forgetting your past. It is about releasing the weight of it so you can finally stand fully in the life you’ve built and stepped into. This is particularly important for parents because DROP becomes more than a personal practice, it becomes a generational shift.

Because children don’t just inherit what we teach. They absorb what we carry. Your nervous system ultimately becomes their nervous system.

DROP, at its core, is the intentional act of letting go of the emotional baggage that keeps you from being present. It is about dropping drama, trauma, outdated narratives, and identities that no longer reflect who you are or who you are becoming. It is not about erasing or forgetting the past, but about freeing the present moment so you can be all in for what is in front of you.

Many parents move through life wearing layers they never consciously choose. Old beliefs formed in childhood. Reactions shaped by past hurt. Patterns learned in environments where survival mattered more than self-awareness. Over time, these layers harden into something that feels like identity, even when it no longer serves you or others in your life.

You may find it in the way you respond too quickly, too sharply, or not at all. In the guilt that lingers longer than it should. In the constant feeling that you are either not enough or too much. These responses are not random-these triggers are among your deepest teachers.

DROP invites you to notice those echoes without judgment and begin asking a different question: Do I still need to carry this or is it time to set it down?

For many, the instinct is to hold on. After all, these patterns once protected you. They helped you navigate difficult environments, relationships, or seasons of life. But what once protected you may now be limiting you. The armor that kept you safe may now be keeping you distant, from yourself, from your children, from the present moment.

Letting go of that armor can feel vulnerable. It can feel like stepping into uncertainty without a shield. But DROP is not about becoming unprotected, it is about becoming unburdened. And there is a difference.

When you DROP emotional weight, you are not discarding your story. You are changing your relationship to it. You move from carrying it to understanding it. From being defined by it to being informed by it. This shift is subtle, but it changes everything.

Forgiveness plays a central role here, though not in the way it is often misunderstood. Forgiveness is not about excusing harm or minimizing your experience. It is about releasing the grip that past experiences have on your present life. It is a decision to stop reliving what has already happened, over and over again, in your thoughts, your reactions, and your body.

For parents, this matters deeply. Children are incredibly perceptive. They can sense tension that is never spoken, stress that is never explained, and emotions that are never fully processed. When you carry unresolved trauma or persistent emotional weight, it often shows up in subtle or overt ways, in impatience, in withdrawal, in addiction, in overprotection, or in control. DROP creates the opportunity to interrupt that cycle and soften it. Imagine responding to your child not from a place of accumulated stress, but from presence. Imagine hearing them fully, without the noise of your own past experiences filtering their words. Imagine being able to pause instead of react, to connect instead of correct, to guide instead of control. This is what DROP makes possible. It begins with awareness. Noticing when you are triggered, when your reactions feel disproportionate, when your body tightens or your thoughts start to spiral. These moments are not failures, they are invitations. They are signals pointing to something that is ready to be released. From there, DROP asks for honesty. What are you still holding onto? Is it resentment toward someone who never apologized? Is it a belief about yourself that was formed in a completely different chapter of your life? Is it a story that says you have to be perfect to be worthy? Once named, the process of letting go can begin. This process is not purely mental. DROP is rooted in looking at the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual parts of who you are. This is deep work, think of it as somatic archaeology. Mentally, it means challenging the narratives that keep you stuck. Questioning whether the thoughts you repeat are actually true, or simply familiar. Choosing, over time, to replace self-criticism with self-understanding and self-love.

Emotionally, it involves allowing yourself to feel what has been suppressed. Not indefinitely, but intentionally. Emotions that are acknowledged can move. Emotions that are ignored tend to linger.

Physically, DROP can show up in how your body holds stress. Tight shoulders, shallow breathing, constant fatigue, these are often signs of unprocessed tension. Practices like movement, breath work, or simply slowing down can help release what words cannot.

Spiritually, it is about reconnecting with a sense of self that exists beyond your past experiences. Whether that connection comes through faith, reflection, nature, or stillness, it reminds you that you are more than what has happened to you.

As these layers begin to release, something remarkable happens: space opens.

And in that space, presence becomes possible.

Presence is not just about being physically there. It is about being fully available, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. It is about experiencing life as it is happening, rather than through the lens of what has already happened.

For parents, presence is one of the greatest gifts you can offer. It tells your child, without words, “You matter. This moment matters. I am here with you.”

But presence cannot coexist with heaviness that has not been addressed. This is why DROP is so essential. It clears the internal clutter that competes for your attention.

It is also important to recognize that DROP is not a one-time event. You do not wake up one day completely free of all past weight. It is a practice, a continual process of noticing, releasing, and realigning.

There will be moments when old patterns resurface. That does not mean you have failed. It means there is another layer ready to be shed.

Think of it like shedding skin. Each layer served a purpose at one point. Each layer protected you in some way. But as you grow, what once fit begins to feel restrictive. Holding onto it becomes more uncomfortable than letting it go.

DROP is the act of trusting that you are allowed to evolve.

For many parents, this can feel unfamiliar. There is often an unspoken belief that growth is something you give to your children, not something you claim for yourself. But the truth is, your growth is one of the most powerful influences in your child’s life.

When they see you reflect, release, and choose differently, they learn that change is possible. That emotions can be processed. That the past does not have to dictate the future.

You are not just raising them, you are modelling what it means to live freely.

And freedom, in this context, is not about having no responsibilities or challenges. It is about moving through life without being anchored to what no longer serves you. It is about responding instead of reacting. Choosing instead of defaulting. Living instead of reliving.

DROP makes that freedom accessible.

It is not always easy work. It requires patience, compassion, and a willingness to sit with discomfort. It may even require you to reach out to a licensed professional to help you shed skins you no longer wish to wear. But the alternative, continuing to carry what weighs you down, is far more costly.

Because the weight does not stay contained. It spills into your relationships, your decisions, your energy, and your presence.

Letting go, on the other hand, creates ripple effects. It changes how you show up, how you connect, how you experience even the simplest moments. A conversation at the dinner table. A quiet car ride. A bedtime story.

These moments, once overshadowed by distraction or emotional residue, become vivid again.

That is the true promise of DROP. Not a perfect life. Not a painless one. But a present one.

And in the end, presence is where life actually happens

THE EMPATH IN A LOUD WORLD WHY SENSITIVITY ISN’T THE PROBLEM.

By Heidi Jane

You are not imagining it. The world has become louder, faster and more intense. Not only in volume, but in pace, expectation, emotional intensity, and the constant demand for your attention. You are exposed to continuous input through notifications, conversations, environments, and the unspoken emotional states of others. There is very little space to pause, process, or reset.

For an empath or highly sensitive person (HSP), this is not simply inconvenient. It is physiologically, emotionally, mentally and energetically overwhelming. And yet, much of the advice you have likely received encourages you to “manage your emotions,” “be less reactive,” or to “toughen up.” These suggestions, while often well-intentioned, miss the point entirely, and display a lack of understanding towards a sensitive system. Your sensitivity is not the issue. The capacity of your nervous system within an overstimulating environment is.

You Are Not Too Much. You Are Processing More.

Highly sensitive individuals are wired to process sensory, energetic and emotional information more deeply than others. This is not a personality flaw; it is a measurable trait. Research has shown that individuals high in sensory processing sensitivity demonstrate increased activation in brain regions associated with awareness, empathy, and integration of information (Acevedo et al., 2014).

This means that you, as an HSP are not simply noticing more. You are processing more, often at a deeper level and with greater emotional significance. You may pick up on subtle shifts in tone, body language, or energy within a room. You may sense what is not being said, rather than just what is spoken. You may feel the emotional state of others with a level of clarity that can be both insightful and overwhelming. This then leads to overload and overwhelm.

When your system becomes overloaded, it is not because you are incapable. It is because your nervous system has reached capacity more quickly due to the volume of information it is processing. This distinction matters, because it shifts the focus away from self-judgement and towards appropriate recognition and support.

THE MODERN ENVIRONMENT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR DEPTH

The current world prioritises speed, productivity, and constant engagement. It rewards rapid responses, high output, and continuous availability. However, your system is not designed for that level of sustained stimulation. As an HSP, you are wired to pause, reflect, and integrate before acting. You are designed to process experiences with depth, not to skim over them at speed, and when you are placed in environments that do not allow for this, your nervous system becomes overloaded.

Research indicates that highly sensitive individuals are more susceptible to overstimulation and stress in high-demand environments, particularly when there is limited opportunity for recovery (Aron, 2017). This is why you may notice that you feel drained after social interactions, overwhelmed in busy spaces, or emotionally impacted by environments that others seem to move through without difficulty. This is not dysfunction. It is a mismatch between your innate wiring and your environment.

NOT EVERYTHING YOU FEEL BELONGS TO YOU

One of the most important distinctions you can learn as an empath is the difference between perceiving emotionand energy and absorbing emotion and energy. Empathy allows you to understand and feel into another person’s experience. However, without clear boundaries, this can shift into emotional and energetic absorption, where you begin to carry what is not yours. From a neurological perspective, this is partly explained by mirror neuron systems, which enable you to internally simulate the emotional states of others (Iacoboni, 2009). This capacity is what allows for deep connection and understanding to the external world. However, it does not mean that every emotion you experience is yours to hold, analyse or process.

When you consistently absorb rather than observe, your system becomes overloaded. You may find yourself feeling anxious, heavy, or depleted without a clear reason, because you are processing more than your own internal state. The shift here is subtle but powerful: You can recognise what someone else is feeling without taking responsibility for it. In other words, it’s not your job to save other people from themselves.

Regulation First. Intuition Follows.

When your nervous system is dysregulated, your perception becomes unreliable, which can cause great distress for HSP. Dysregulation does not mean your intuition has disappeared. It means that it is being filtered through a system that is in a state of activation. In this state, it becomes easy to confuse anxiety with intuition, urgency with truth, and emotional intensity with accuracy. As a result, instinct kicks in and tends to override the more subtle voice of intuition, leaving you feeling even more confused and disconnected.

From a physiological perspective, heightened arousal within the nervous system narrows perception and prioritises threat detection over clarity (Porges, 2011). This is a protective mechanism, but it is not conducive to intuitive accuracy. When your system is regulated, your perception becomes clearer, more neutral, and more grounded. This is why regulation is not an optional add-on to intuitive development. It is the foundation.

What Regulation Looks Like in Practice

Rather than approaching regulation as another task to complete, it is more useful to view it as an ongoing relationship with your sensitive nervous system.

1. Reduce Unnecessary Input

The first step is not to cope better, but to reduce what your system is required to process. This may include being more selective with:

  • Media consumption
  • Social environments
  • Conversations that involve emotional unloading
  • Overcommitted schedules

Your system does not need to process everything. Discernment is a form of regulation.

2. Build Consistent Micro-Regulation

Regulation does not require extended periods of time. It requires consistency. Short, intentional pauses throughout the day allow your system to reset before overwhelm accumulates. This may look like stepping outside, sitting in silence, or consciously slowing your breathing for a few moments. These small interventions signal safety to your nervous system and increase your overall capacity.

3. Differentiate Between Activation and Intuition

A regulated intuitive signal is typically clear, neutral, and direct. Activation, on the other hand, feels urgent, emotionally charged, and often comes with a sense of pressure or looping thoughts. When something feels intense, the most effective approach is to pause and regulate before making a decision. Clarity follows regulation, not the other way around.

4. Strengthen Emotional Boundaries

Emotional boundaries are not about shutting down or becoming unavailable. They are about maintaining clarity around what belongs to you. You can care deeply without becoming responsible for another person’s emotional state. This distinction allows you to remain present without becoming overwhelmed.

SENSITIVITY AS A FORM OF LEADERSHIP

Sensitivity, when supported by regulation, becomes a strength. It allows you to recognise patterns, read environments accurately, and respond with depth rather than reactivity. These are qualities associated with emotional intelligence and effective leadership.

Without regulation, the same sensitivity can lead to overthinking, emotional exhaustion, and difficulty making decisions.

The trait itself is not the issue. The level of regulation determines how it is expressed.

THE REAL SHIFT

The work is not about becoming less sensitive. It is about becoming more skilled in how you work with your sensitivity.

This includes:

  • Understanding your nervous system
  • Building boundaries that are sustainable
  • Recognising what is yours and what is not
  • Creating environments that support your capacity
  • Not apologising for who you are

As these skills develop, your experience begins to change, and you feel more stable within yourself.

Your intuition becomes clearer and more reliable, and your energy is no longer dictated by everything around you.

FINAL THOUGHT

You do not need to harden yourself to function in the modern world, but you do need to understand how your system operates within it. Sensitivity is not the problem.Unregulated sensitivity is. And once you learn how to support your system properly, your sensitivity becomes an asset rather than a burden.

The wound of self judgment HEAL

— a poem by Louis Peterson

Designed by awakened souls media

RETURNING TO THE TRUTH OF YOUR SELFNESS

There comes a moment in every awakening journey when the whisper becomes a roar — a moment when the soul refuses to let you shrink any further. It’s the moment you realize that playing small is not humility; it is self-abandonment. It is a quiet betrayal of the truth you came here to embody.

Louis Peterson’s poem Selfness Powerful captures this turning point with crystalline clarity. Each line is an invitation to remember what the world has conditioned us to forget: you are already whole, already worthy, already complete. The work is not to become something more — but to stop pretending you are something less.

The Habit of Shrinking

Most people don’t play small because they lack talent, intelligence, or spiritual depth. They play small because they’ve been taught to distrust their own brilliance. They’ve been trained to dim their light so others feel comfortable. They’ve been conditioned to believe that self-love is indulgent, that self-trust is arrogance, and that self-expression must be earned.

But the soul knows better.

When Louis writes, “Self love, tell me I love you… You are completeness, more than worthy,” he is naming the truth that lives beneath every layer of doubt. Playing small is not a personality trait — it is a wound. And wounds can heal.

The Return to Selfness

Selfness is not selfishness. Selfness is the recognition that your authentic being is not a threat to anyone — it is a gift to everyone.

To stop playing small is to:

  • Embrace your own presence without apology
  • Allow love in without deflection
  • Acknowledge your gifts without minimizing them
  • Create from your fullness, not your apprehension
  • Stand in the authenticity of your Soul’s essence, not your conditioning

Louis writes, “Full integration of who I am, identity awareness… The authentic self, real self, total selfness.” This is the heart of the journey. Awakening is not about transcending the self; it is about inhabiting it fully.

Letting Love All the Way In

The Alchemy of Pain

One of the most radical lines in the poem is also the simplest: “You are so loved, let it in.”

Louis ends with a truth many avoid: “The pain becomes the beauty… The wound of self judgment HEAL.”

Letting love in is not passive. It is an act of courage. It requires dismantling the internal walls built from judgment, comparison, and inherited shame. It requires choosing to believe that love is not something you must earn — it is something you already are.

This is the alchemy of awakening. Your pain is not a punishment — it is a portal. Your wounds are not evidence of unworthiness — they are invitations to deeper integration.

When you allow love, you stop playing small because love does not shrink. Love expands. Love illuminates. Love reveals. When you stop judging yourself, you stop hiding from yourself. And when you stop hiding, you stop playing small.

Stepping Into Your Magnitude

To stop playing small is not to become someone new. It is to finally become who you have always been, and what you came here to express.

It is to:

  • Walk with your head high because your soul is sovereign
  • Speak with clarity because your voice carries truth
  • Create boldly because your essence is generative
  • Love deeply because your heart is vast
  • Stand firmly because your being is rooted in Natural Law

This is the path of Embodied Awakening. This is the path of Applied Wisdom. This is the path of Selfness Powerful.

And it is available to you now — not when you are “better,” not when you are “ready,” not when you have “earned it.” Now.

Because the truth is simple: You were never meant to play small. You were meant to shine.

Reclaiming Your Light — And Letting It Shine Fully

If playing small is the dimming of your inner light, then awakening is the deliberate act of turning that light back on — brighter, steadier, and more coherent than ever.

One of the most powerful ways we can support this return to radiance is by tending to the light within the body itself.

In the same way Louis’s poem reminds us that “You are completeness, more than worthy,” the BioHealing Stream works at the level of the human energy system to help us remember that truth somatically — not just conceptually.

The BioHealing Stream emits living biophotons, the same subtle light our cells naturally produce when they are healthy, coherent, and fully resourced.

When we increase our inner light, we uplift every dimension of our being:

  • Mentally, the noise quiets and clarity returns
  • Emotionally, heaviness dissolves and balance emerges
  • Physically, vitality strengthens and the body reorganizes toward coherence
  • Spiritually, connection deepens and awareness expands

When our light is bright, we stop playing small because we can’t play small — the truth of who we are becomes impossible to hide.

THE MOMEN BE WE SLEEP

There is a quiet threshold each night that most people pass through without noticing, a moment where the body begins to soften and the mind gradually releases its hold on the structure of the day, and although it arrives without ceremony, it marks one of the most profound transitions we experience, because in that subtle shift between waking and sleep something older than thought begins to move, something that does not rely on logic and yet has never been separate from truth.

For as long as I can remember, that threshold did not feel empty. Sleep was never an absence or a disappearance from the world I knew, but an entry into something that carried its own depth, its own continuity, and at times, its own undeniable sense of reality. My mother recognised this long before I had the language to understand it, asking me each morning what I had seen, not casually, but with a quiet attentiveness that suggested she understood that dreams could carry meaning, even when that meaning was not immediately clear.

For a time, I spoke freely, describing what I experienced without hesitation, unaware that there would come a moment that would alter that openness entirely. I was twelve when I had a dream that did not dissolve upon waking, not because of its imagery alone, but because of the certainty that accompanied it, a weight that remained in my body and refused to settle into something that could be dismissed as imagination.

In that dream, my mother stood inside a house that felt unfamiliar in its emptiness, stripped of everything that should have been there, and although nothing was spoken, the atmosphere carried a finality that was impossible to ignore. She was crying, not briefly or lightly, but with a depth that felt rooted in something already lost, and the stillness of the space around her made that absence feel even more complete. When I woke, the feeling did not lift. It stayed with me in a way that felt unfinished, as though something had already occurred beyond my understanding.

I told her that morning, trying to explain what I had seen with the limited words I had at that age, not because I understood it, but because something in me recognised that it mattered. She listened, as she always had, and the day continued as any other, with nothing outwardly suggesting that anything had shifted.

Within days, everything did.

THE STORY BEGINS

What followed was not symbolic or abstract, but real in a way that no child is prepared to process. My mother experienced a breakdown that did not unfold gradually, but with a force that dismantled our environment completely, stripping our home of everything that had once made it familiar. Objects were not simply misplaced or moved aside, but removed entirely, and what remained was not just emptiness, but disorientation, the kind that comes when reality no longer aligns with what you thought was stable. I did not know whether I had seen something before it happened, or whether, in some way I could not comprehend, I had played a role in it by seeing it at all, and that uncertainty did not open curiosity, it created distance. We were left with almost nothing, not in theory, but in lived experience, and in the midst of trying to understand what was happening, something far more complex began to take hold within me. The memory of that dream did not sit separately from what I was witnessing. It remained alongside it, creating a question that I did not yet have the maturity to hold, yet could not ignore.

I stopped speaking about my dreams. I stopped allowing myself to remain in that space between waking and remembering. I learned to move quickly into the day, filling it with enough distraction that there was no space left to reflect on what had surfaced during the night. What had once felt natural became something I deliberately avoided, not because it had disappeared, but because I no longer felt safe engaging with it. Years passed in that separation, and yet what exists within us does not dissolve through avoidance. It waits.

Dreams are not the absence of reason — they are reason revealed in a higher language.

WHEN THE NIGHT SPEAKS

When the dreams returned, they did not come back as fragments or distant impressions, but with a clarity that felt unmistakably different, and by that point I had lived enough life to recognise that what I had once feared was not there to destabilise me, but to reveal something I had not yet been ready to understand.

Science offers a framework that describes dreaming as a process through which the brain regulates emotion, integrates memory, and restores balance within the nervous system, particularly during REM sleep where neural activity allows the mind to reorganise experience and process what has not yet been resolved. This explains why many dreams mirror daily life in fragmented or exaggerated ways, reflecting conversations, thoughts, or emotional residues that the mind is attempting to make sense of.

Yet this explanation does not account for everything.

There are dreams that dissolve quickly, leaving little behind, and there are those that remain intact, carrying a coherence that does not fragment upon waking, and a presence that feels less like something created, and more like something encountered.

Long before modern science attempted to categorise these experiences, ancient civilisations recognised this difference without needing to separate it. In Egypt, dreams were recorded and interpreted before decisions were made. In Babylon and Assyria, they were documented as symbolic systems, not dismissed as random activity. In Greece, individuals entered sacred spaces with the intention to dream, trusting that insight would emerge through what was revealed in the night.

Across Indigenous traditions, dreaming was never isolated from reality, but understood as part of a continuous field of awareness, where the mind processes, the body responds, and something deeper communicates through both, not in contradiction, but in integration.

Dreams are the whispering geometry of consciousness — patterns of truth designed to awaken the sleeper.
Robert Edward Grant

The Ancient History of Dreaming

Humanity has always known that sleep is not a silence but a conversation.

  • Ancient Egypt: Dreams were divine messages; Pharaohs consulted interpreters before making decisions.
  • Babylon & Assyria: Clay tablets recorded dream symbols — the world’s first dream manuals.
  • Greece: Temples of Asclepius offered “incubation sleep” for healing visions.
  • The Bible: Joseph’s interpretations saved nations.
  • Islamic Mysticism: Ru’yā ṣāliḥa — true dreams — are one-forty-sixth of prophecy.
  • Hindu Philosophy: Dreams are one of four states of consciousness; the soul rehearses its lessons.
  • Buddhism: Dreams reveal attachment and guide liberation.
  • Aboriginal Dreamtime: The entire creation was dreamed into existence — life as a continuing vision.
  • Native American Traditions: Elders view dreams as sacred communication with the spirit world. Vision quests, sweat lodges, and dreamcatchers were never superstition — they were sacred technologies for filtering truth from illusion.
  • Meso-American & Andean cultures: The Maya, Aztec, and Quechua peoples believed dreams were direct messages from deities and ancestors, guiding crops, ceremonies, and destiny itself.

HOW TO REMEMBER AND READ YOUR DREAMS

Dreams are rarely forgotten by accident. They fade because we wake too quickly, move too fast, and overlook the quiet space where they are still speaking.

The way you enter sleep shapes what you are able to receive from it. When the mind carries the noise of the day, whether through overstimulation, distraction, or unresolved thought, dreams often reflect that same fragmentation. Creating a sense of calm before sleep is not about ritual for the sake of it, but about allowing the mind and body to soften enough for something deeper to come through with clarity.

There is also value in setting a simple intention, not as a demand, but as an openness. A quiet acknowledgement that what arises during the night is worth noticing. Over time, this alone begins to shift what is remembered.

Dreams do not disappear immediately upon waking. They fade because attention moves elsewhere. Giving yourself even a few moments of stillness allows fragments to return, and those fragments are often enough. What matters is not capturing every detail, but recognising what remained.

Writing them down, even briefly, creates a record that reveals far more over time than a single experience ever could. Patterns begin to surface, not because they are forced into meaning, but because they are allowed to be seen.

Before interpretation begins, feeling must come first. The emotional tone of a dream carries a level of truth that images alone cannot fully explain. When that feeling is recognised, the rest becomes easier to understand.

Reading your dreams is not about decoding them. It is about learning how to stay present with what they are already showing you.

UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOUR DREAMS ARE REVEALING

THE LANGUAGE AND WISDOM OF SYMBOLS

There is a tendency to search for fixed meanings, as though every symbol carries a definition that can be applied in the same way each time it appears. In doing so, the experience becomes separated from the person having it. Dreams do not operate through universal language. They move through memory, association, and emotional context, which means their meaning is always personal.

Understanding symbols is not about learning a system. It is about recognising how your own mind communicates when it is no longer filtered through conscious control.

THE HIDDEN CURRICULUM OF THE SOUL

Dreams often reveal what is easier to avoid during the day. Thoughts and emotions that remain beneath awareness do not disappear. In sleep, they find a way to be seen without resistance.

What matters most is not the image itself, but the response it creates. The same symbol can hold entirely different significance depending on where it appears, what surrounds it, and how it is felt. When removed from that context, interpretation becomes surface level and loses its depth.

What may feel unclear at first begins to take shape over time, not because the dream changes, but because your willingness to recognise it does. In this way, dreams move from something experienced to something that quietly guides.

Over time, repetition begins to reveal what is asking to be acknowledged. When something returns again and again, it is rarely random. It carries a consistency that invites recognition rather than explanation.

There is also a creative intelligence within this space. When the mind is no longer trying to control everything, ideas and insights emerge with a clarity that is difficult to access in waking life.

There is also a quieter layer of understanding that develops through experience. A moment where something simply feels true without needing to be analysed. That instinct is not something to override. It becomes more accurate the more it is trusted.

Healing follows the same pattern. What cannot always be faced directly can be processed through imagery and feeling, allowing understanding to develop without force.

THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL

The difficulty most people encounter is not that dreams lack clarity, but that they have been conditioned to approach them in a way that distances them from their own understanding. There is a tendency to search for fixed meanings, to interpret symbols as though they exist independently from personal experience, and to analyse too quickly, replacing direct awareness with borrowed interpretation. Dreams do not speak in universal definitions. They move through personal language, shaped by memory, emotion, and lived experience, and what appears as a simple image may carry entirely different meaning depending on the context in which it arises and the response it evokes. Understanding does not come through force. It begins with attention. Noticing what remains after waking, what feeling lingers, what detail refuses to dissolve, and allowing that to exist without immediately trying to translate it into something neat or conclusive. Over time, patterns begin to reveal themselves, not because they are being extracted, but because they are being recognised. Some dreams will always belong to the mind’s need to process and release, while others carry a depth that extends beyond immediate explanation, and the ability to recognise the difference does not come from theory, but from experience, built slowly through presence rather than effort.

What dreaming refines, over time, is not just awareness of the night, but awareness within waking life, because the same intelligence that expresses itself through dreams is present in more subtle forms throughout the day. It appears as instinct, hesitation, a quiet knowing that does not require explanation, yet is often overlooked in favour of more familiar patterns of thought. For a long time, I questioned whether what I experienced in my dreams was something to trust or something to avoid, yet that question eventually shifted, not into belief, but into observation. It became less about assigning meaning to every experience and more about recognising which ones carried a level of presence that could not be dismissed, and allowing that recognition to exist without forcing it into certainty. There is a balance required in this, because assuming that every dream holds a message removes discernment, while dismissing them entirely removes awareness, and neither position allows for understanding to develop in a way that is grounded. Dreams are not instructions, nor are they fixed predictions. They are reflections of what is forming, what remains unresolved, and what is ready to be seen, offering insight that becomes clearer when approached with attention rather than urgency. When that relationship is understood, dreaming is no longer something passive or accidental, but something relational, an ongoing dialogue between the mind, the body, and the deeper intelligence that moves through both. And when that dialogue is no longer ignored, it does not feel distant or abstract, but quietly familiar, as though it has always been present, waiting not to be believed, but recognised.

Ianthe Mauro: What Does “Love & Light” Really Mean?

WHAT DOES “LOVE & LIGHT” REALLY MEAN?

The home where I raised 2 babies, poured and packaged my first candles, launched the brand “Objects With Purpose”, confronted autoimmune disease and divorced my first husband, was burned to the ground in the January 2025 fire.

I had said goodbye to that house, the first home I purchased, when I walked away from a 14 year marriage in 2009. It took a physical lump in my throat, and racing heartbeat, diagnosed as Grave’s Disease, to rip off the mask I’d been wearing. The mask was placed there lovingly, by my subconscious, to keep me safe from being revealed as “weird” or “too much”. But that mask was a barrier to true self-awareness and I wore it for others to feel comfortable, discounting my own very true, very weird and very big ideas and visions. At that time, “love & light” was a way to bypass difficult conversations and confrontations. It wasn’t enough to wish everyone that cliche, because I was suffering from physical manifestations of suppressing my spirit, and the state of “fight or flight” was dominating my days and nights. Mostly flight, mostly fear, mostly disbelief that I had been hiding for so long behind that outwardly pleasant mask.

This is where my true entrepreneurial story began.

As I was lighting candles every day and setting intentions on the flame to bring in more true light, health, safety for myself and my children and the world at large, I discovered most candles are toxic! Being raised by artists who used candle light like most people use lightbulbs, I refused to stop lighting candles. This awakened the fight in my “fight or flight” state and I decided to create my own candles, using ingredients that wouldn’t poison the environment and my children!

There were 3 homes in The Palisades that helped me create, nurture and grow a candle brand, discover who I was without the identity of “wife” or “Grave’s disease survivor” and all of them are now ash. My grown-up children returned to that home, their father never left, just days before the fire, bringing everything they owned as they were transitioning into adult life. Everything they owned, became everything they lost in that one day in January 2025.

Ironic that the tiny flame of a candle, which led me to my entrepreneurship adventure, was conceived and nurtured in a place that was eventually consumed by fire.

I have great respect for fire, flames, the burning of old patterns, habits that don’t serve, and the ability for miracles to rise from the ashes! The lessons my children learned from the loss of all physical belongings is astounding. And they will tell you, as traumatic as it was, it was also a gift.

LOSS CAN BE A MESSENGER FOR MASSIVE GROWTH AND CANDLES ARE A WAY TO SEE IN THE DARK.
Ianthe Mauro

Its been 17 years since creating my first eco-luxury candles and since then I’ve moved 9 times, watched my children graduate high school, college and grad school, start careers and find love, and I re-married my first boyfriend. The constant has always been love & light.

I brought the candles “home” with me to Georgia in a cross-country move, from their California roots, and firmly planted new ways of sharing light. I realize I’m dropping quite a few metaphors, but earth and fire are symbols of rebirth, grounding and possibility. For me they are all related, as we are. I’m asking you to not be afraid to take off the mask, honor your weird and wonderful visions and light more candles with intention. Revealing shadows and illuminating the darkness, even when fear of fire creeps into your imaginings, is a revolutionary act.

Lighting candles will help you ground, plant your own roots, and create a signature scent to remind you of your power to endure and transmute challenges, and create “home” wherever you are. Choose your candles wisely, making sure they’re clean burning, with scents that speak to your soul. A woman I coached to start her own candle brand once told me that the reason she makes candles is because when she lights a candle she doesn’t feel alone. That’s the power of light, fire, a glowing promise to send prayers to the heavens or intentions into the ether where they have an opportunity to be seen, heard and made manifest.

Never leave a burning candle, or suffering friend, unattended
Ianthe Mauro

Once you focus on the tiny flame of a candle, knowing it’s a portal that reaches across time to connect you with your ancestors who did the same, and the deepest part of your being, you will never lose sight of the power of candle light.

Now, since we’ve been acquainted on a deeper level, I can say to you, “love & light” and you know what I mean is anything but cliche. Love and light are accessible to us all, to you right now, and if you forget just look at the little dancing flame of a clean candle. Everything you need to know will be illuminated.

The Earth Remembers

RECLAIMING YOUR POWER THROUGH GROUNDING

WHEN YOU TOUCH THE EARTH, SOMETHING ANCIENT AWAKENS.

When your bare feet meet the earth, something in the body seems to recognise the contact before the mind has time to explain it. Grass, soil, stone, sand and seawater speak through sensation first. Coolness. Texture. Weight. Stillness. It is a simple meeting, yet it can feel strangely familiar, as though some older part of you has been waiting for the noise to quieten enough to remember where it came from. Modern life trains us to live lifted away from nature, moving across concrete, staring into artificial light, wrapped in rubber soles and endless stimulation. Grounding interrupts that separation.

THE POWERFUL ACT OF DRAWING IN ELECTRONS FROM THE EARTH’S SURFACE THROUGH THE SOLES OF YOUR FEET, CONNECTING YOU TO THE EARTH’S ENERGY AND RESTORING BALANCE WITHIN

To ground is to return to direct contact with the living surface of the Earth. It can be as simple as standing barefoot in the garden, walking slowly along wet sand, placing your hands into soil, leaning against a tree, or swimming in natural water. There is nothing complicated to perform and nothing to prove. The practice works through relationship. Your body is electrical. The Earth is electrical. When the two meet, the body receives a signal of contact, rhythm and belonging.

Our ancestors did not need to call this wellness. It was woven into daily life. They walked the land barefoot, planted with their hands, rested close to the ground, bathed in rivers and understood that the Earth was not just scenery around them, but a living presence beneath them. Grounding brings that wisdom back into the modern body. It is not a trend. It is a remembering.

A SACRED ACT OF REMEMBRANCE

Grounding can sound almost too simple in a world trained to trust complication. We search for healing through screens, supplements, appointments, expert opinions and endless information, often forgetting the original medicine beneath our feet. The Earth does not need to market itself or promise instant transformation. It simply waits, steady and ancient, for us to make contact again.

Modern studies into grounding are beginning to explore what the body may have known all along. Early research has looked at its possible influence on inflammation, sleep quality, cortisol rhythm, pain, mood and heart rate variability, a marker often linked with nervous system balance. This is not a replacement for medical care, but it opens a meaningful bridge between ancestral wisdom and modern physiology.

THE EARTH IS ALIVE AND SO ARE YOU

We often speak about healing as though it must be chased, purchased or earned. Grounding softens that belief. It reminds us that restoration can begin in beautifully ordinary ways: a bare foot on grass, a hand in soil, a breath beside the sea, a few minutes under open sky.

Spring carries this lesson with quiet authority. Nothing in nature blooms by force. Roots deepen before flowers appear. Energy gathers in hidden places before it rises into colour and form. Grounding teaches us the same wisdom. It asks us to return to the body, the breath and the land beneath us.

TRY THIS SACRED MOMENT

Step outside while the morning air is still soft. Remove your shoes and let your feet meet the ground without rushing. Breathe slowly, placing one hand over your heart and the other over your belly. Notice the temperature beneath your feet, the texture of the grass, soil, stone or sand, and the way your body responds when nothing is being demanded from it. Stay there for a few minutes and let the moment be enough. Simply allow yourself to be held by the Earth, and remember that stillness is also a form of strength.

WRITTEN BY AWAKENED SOULS MAGAZINE © COPYRIGHT.

When the soles of your feet touch grass, soil, sand or stone, the body enters a physical conversation with the Earth’s surface. Researchers studying grounding suggest this contact may support stress regulation and reconnect us with natural rhythms that modern living interrupts.

Most of us now spend our days indoors, lifted from the ground, surrounded by concrete, artificial light and technology. We are more connected than ever through devices, yet many people feel strangely unrooted in themselves.

Our ancestors understood this relationship without needing to name it as a practice. They walked barefoot, planted food with their hands, rested close to the ground, prayed with their bodies touching stone and gathered beneath trees not simply for shelter, but for belonging. The Earth was not scenery to them. It was teacher, provider, witness and home.

THE SCIENCE BENEATH YOUR FEET

HOW GROUNDING SPEAKS TO THE BODY

Grounding may feel ancient, intuitive and deeply spiritual, but it is also being explored through modern physiology. The human body is not only flesh, bone and breath. Every heartbeat, nerve signal, brainwave and muscular movement relies on tiny electrical messages moving through the body. This is what makes grounding so fascinating: it brings the body back into direct contact with the electrical surface of the Earth.

Researchers studying earthing suggest that when bare skin touches soil, grass, sand or natural water, electrons from the Earth may transfer into the body. These electrons are believed to act as antioxidants, helping to calm oxidative stress and support the body’s natural inflammatory response. The science is still developing, and grounding should never be presented as a replacement for medical care, but early reviews and small studies have explored its relationship with inflammation, sleep, pain, stress, cortisol rhythm and heart rate variability.

One study on grounding during sleep found changes in night-time cortisol patterns, alongside reported improvements in sleep, pain and stress. Other research has explored grounding’s possible influence on the autonomic nervous system, which helps shift the body between fight-or-flight and rest-and-repair. This matters because many people today live in constant activation. Their bodies are tired, but not truly rested. Grounding offers a simple physical signal that may help the body move back towards regulation.

This is where science and sacred wisdom meet beautifully. Our ancestors may not have used words like cortisol, inflammation, oxidative stress or heart rate variability, but they understood relationship. They knew the body changed when it touched the land, moved with the seasons, slept close to the Earth, bathed in rivers and walked barefoot beneath the sun. Science is not replacing that wisdom. It is giving language to what the body has always known.

THE BENEFITS PEOPLE OFTEN NOTICE

People who practise grounding often describe feeling calmer, clearer and more present. Some notice deeper sleep, reduced tension, less emotional overwhelm, steadier energy and a stronger sense of being back in their body. From a scientific perspective, these experiences may connect to the nervous system, inflammation pathways, circadian rhythm and stress hormones. From a spiritual perspective, they may feel like coming home.

WHY GROUNDING IS URGENT IN MODERN LIFE

Grounding is not only about health. It is about how we live, listen and return to ourselves in a world that constantly pulls us outward. Many people are exhausted not because they are weak, but because they are overstimulated, under-rested and disconnected from the rhythms that once held human life in balance. We wake to screens, work beneath artificial light, move from room to car to building, then wonder why the nervous system never truly lands.

The anxiety, fatigue, sleeplessness and emotional heaviness so many carry are often signs of a body living too far from what is natural. Grounding interrupts that pattern. It gives the body a cue of safety and a chance to soften.

IF YOU CANNOT GET TO THE EARTH, BRING THE EARTH TO YOU.

You can also visualise roots extending from your feet into the Earth when you feel scattered. Even a minute of stillness can shift the body.

THIS IS MORE THAN WELLNESS. THIS IS A RECLAMATION.

To ground is to stop living as though you are separate from the world that made you. It is a quiet rebellion against disconnection. Every barefoot step becomes a prayer of reconnection. Every breath outside becomes a reminder that the Earth has been holding you all along.

This season, practise grounding in small honest ways. Stand barefoot. Touch the soil. Sit with a tree. Let your body remember.

With grounding love,

Its benefits are often described through deeper sleep, calmer stress responses, steadier mood and reduced inflammation. Beyond research, something more human happens. Grounding brings you back into your body. It reminds you that you do not need to live only in the mind. You are allowed to belong to the Earth again.

Not everyone has easy access to a beach, forest or garden. If you live in a city, bring the Earth to you. Place your hands in soil. Keep stones such as black tourmaline, shungite, hematite or river stones nearby. Soak your feet in warm water with sea salt and grounding oils such as vetiver, cedarwood or patchouli.

MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU:

THE GROW RENAISSANCE HAS BEGUN

A DISTURBANCE IN THE FORCE

Close your eyes for a moment. Can you feel it?

There is a trembling in the roots of the world. A low hum beneath the soil, beneath the noise of markets, beneath the static of screens, a frequency that the ancients knew well and that the modern world has nearly forgotten.

It is the frequency of life wanting to return to itself.

The Jedi did not fight with brute force. They moved with the flow of something older than empires. They listened to what Yoda called the living Force — the energy that moves through all things, that connects the farmer to the seed, the seed to the soil, the soil to the table, and the table to the soul.

In the Star Wars universe, the greatest act of rebellion was not picking up a weapon. It was waking up.

Welcome to May.

Welcome to Jedi Month. And welcome to the Grow Renaissance.

THE EMPIRE STRUCK FIRST

Let us speak plainly, as leaders do, about the darkness we are navigating.

Roughly ten conglomerates now control the global food market. Ultra-processed food floods the shelves while 47 family farms vanish every single day in Australia alone. Farmers, the true Jedi of our civilization, the stewards of the living Force, are being crushed under the weight of debt financing, broken supply chains, and a commodity system designed not to nourish, but to extract.

This is the Empire's design. Centralized. Opaque. Extractive.

And like all empires, it is unsustainable.

The soil knows. The water knows. The body knows. The rising tide of chronic illness, mental health crises, and ecological collapse is the Force screaming at us that something has gone profoundly wrong.

But here is what every great shaman, every Jedi master, every keeper of sacred fire understands:

Darkness is not the end of the story. It is the invitation to rise.

A VISION IN THE WILDERNESS

Four years ago, a visionary, a farmer and rancher with soil under his fingernails, wind in his lungs, and a fire in his chest that no system could extinguish — sat with a question that most people would never dare ask:

What if we rebuilt all of it?

Not patched it. Not lobbied for reform. Not begged the Empire for table scraps.

Rebuilt it. From the soil up. From the code up. From the soul up.

That vision became GROW, and what has emerged is not merely a blockchain company. It is a renaissance movement. A decentralized rebellion. A new hope for the agri-food and health-and-wellness world.

Like Obi-Wan whispering across the cosmos, this was a message not just heard with the ears but felt in the bones:

The producers must become the heroes again.

THE KYBER CRYSTAL: GROW SMART NODES

Every Jedi carries a lightsaber. And at the heart of every lightsaber is a Kyber crystal, a sacred, finite object that focuses and amplifies the Force.

At the heart of the Grow ecosystem is its own Kyber crystal: the Grow Smart Node, affectionately known as a Grode.

The Smart Node is unlike anything in the known technological galaxy. It is the only piece of software I am aware of that appreciates in value while distributing daily rewards you can use to nourish your friends, your family, and your community. It gives you a voting seat and ownership stake in a utility blockchain bringing trust, transparency, and traceability to the agri-food and health and wellness world.

Here is the sacred architecture:

There will only ever be 100,000 Smart Nodes in lifetime existence, because we believe in the sacred principle of finitude. The rarest crystals carry the most power.

Every 100 nodes activated, the price appreciates by $100. The early adopters are rewarded. The Force flows toward the aligned.

Today, nearly 30,000 Grodes are operational across ten countries. The rebellion is not theoretical. It is alive and growing.

Nodes run on one node type, eliminating blockchain complexity. Simplicity is power.

Your Smart Node is a mining instrument, a data storage vessel, a voting mechanism, and a daily reward generator, all in one.

This is not a speculative token you hold and hope. This is a living, breathing, appreciating asset, a Kyber crystal that rewards you for showing up in the Force every single day.

A single Jedi is powerful. But it was the Order that changed the galaxy. Grow has built its own Order, an interconnected ecosystem of dApps, tools, and platforms that together form something the world has never seen.

Farm Tracer — The Jedi Archives

Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them.
Obi-Wan Kenobi

The Jedi Archives held the truth of the galaxy. Farm Tracer holds the truth of your food. Operating across multiple supply sheds, Farm Tracer traces your food from field to fork, paddock to plate, beef, cherries, apples, potatoes, grains, asparagus, onions, cauliflower and more. Every step. Every hand. Every mile. All ledgered on chain, immutable and transparent.

When you understand how your food was raised, grown, and where it came from, you reclaim something ancient. You reclaim relationship with your food. That is not a small thing. That is everything.

And here is the Force at work: using $GROW token on NourishMart equalizes the playing field for every buyer and seller regardless of geography, economic status, or access to traditional banking. This is decentralized finance living alongside your traditional wallet, a parallel economy built not for shareholders, but for people.

Health and wellness practitioners, clinicians, biohackers, regenerative food makers, culinary artists, chefs, they are all arriving on NourishMart. And soon, a fully integrated telemedicine platform will join the ecosystem, because at Grow, Food Is Health is not a slogan. It is a sacred covenant.

When you buy from a producer on NourishMart, you are not merely filling your freezer. You are casting a vote for a food system worth keeping. You are reaching across the digital ether and saying to a family rancher fighting drought and rising costs and fake meat and an indifferent commodity market: I see you. I choose you. You matter. That is shamanic medicine.

NourishMart — The Cantina Reimagined

The Mos Eisley Cantina was chaotic and full of middlemen. NourishMart is the universe it should have been.

NourishMart is Grow's B2C and B2B onchain commerce platform, a direct-to-consumer marketplace where producers sell uncontracted product directly to the people who want it. No middleman fees. No bank fees. No third-party processor fees. 100% of profits go to the vendor. It is free for qualified vendors.

Ecological Credits — Guardians of the Living Force

The living Force pulses through soil, water, air, and biodiversity. When we destroy these, we sever ourselves from life itself.

Grow has built a blockchain-based ecological credits platform covering carbon, water, biodiversity, and emission avoidances including methane. The blockchain removes bureaucracy, eliminates the need for laborious and expensive third-party registries, and ensures full transparency from project initiation to credit issuance.

And crucially…Grow can even insure your digital ecological assets. The credits themselves are protected on chain.

This is the Force restoring balance. Not through lobbying. Not through hope. Through code, transparency, and aligned incentives.

Live.Stock & RWA Tokenization — The Clone Wars Are Over, The Real Assets Have Arrived

This prototype opens the door to tokenizing anything on your land, including conservation uses. Grow can tokenize water. Grow can tokenize global agricultural real estate and all Real World Assets. All on chain. All transparent. All aligned.

This is not science fiction. This is the Kessel Run — completed in less than twelve parsecs.

Real World Asset tokenization from agricultural land is the next largest asset class entering global financial portfolios. And Grow is not watching from the sidelines, Grow built the prototype.

Live.Stock allows someone to own the digital twin of a real world livestock asset. The livestock owner receives capital to raise the animal. The digital asset owner recognizes upside, and at end of lifespan, receives a box of their favourite protein while the digital asset is burned, returned to the Force. Clean. Circular. Sacred.

The Battle of Kohima is one of history's most overlooked turning points, a moment when aligned groups, the British and the Gurkhas, had to communicate, trust, and hold the line against overwhelming force. It is called the Forgotten War.

In the deepest strife of that battle, a flower grew in the most inhospitable of conditions.

A symbol of resilience.

In memory of a grandfather who fought in that battle, Grow's onchain consultancy and advisory platform bears that sacred name: Kohima.

If you are a landowner or producer seeking consulting or advisory services, do not spend dead money on hope. Become a Grow community member. Gain access to the full ecosystem.

Tap into the knowledge of subject matter experts, knowing that your money is working for you, not disappearing into overhead.

The flower grew in the wasteland. So shall you.

LandNFT & NourishNFT — The Holocrons

In the Star Wars galaxy, Holocrons were sacred containers holding ancient knowledge, accessible only to those aligned with the Force.

LandNFTs are Grow's Holocrons for landowners, giving access to GIS mapping, spectrophy analysis, and land data at a fraction of traditional cost. Know your land. Understand your land. Heal your land.

NourishNFTs are perhaps the most joyful tool in the arsenal, because they pay you to feed your friends, family, and community. Abundance flowing outward. The Force multiplying in the hands of many.

THE WATER REMEMBERS

In 2013, a farmer sat across from Masaru Emoto near Frankfurt, the scientist and philosopher who revealed to the world that water carries memory, that it responds to intention, that the quality of our consciousness is literally encoded in the molecules that make up 70% of our bodies and our world.

"I would like to build a device that reads water in real time," the farmer told him.

Emoto went silent. Then smiled.

And spoke of water in the way that only those who truly understand the living Force can speak.

That conversation never left. Restructuring water is essential. The quality of water, its memory, its crystalline intelligence, its capacity to carry life force, is not separate from the food we grow, the soil we tend, or the bodies we inhabit.

Grow understands this. The mission is not transactional. It is vibrational. It is about restoring the frequency of life to a food system that has forgotten what life even means.

I use electrofarming techniques. I have built and deployed full passive solar greenhouses that harness low-grade heat from Bitcoin miners to control microclimates — because the Force doesn't care where the energy comes from, only that it serves life.

I still own and operate my own farms. I am still tied to the soil — to the mud, the frost, the abundance, the uncertainty, and the irreplaceable miracle of watching something grow from nothing.

I work alongside remarkable individuals on critical issues in global food, energy, climate, and agricultural systems. As a windsurfing aficionado, I live by a truth that guides everything we build at Grow:

One tide raises all ships.

This is life's work. To serve ecology. To nourish People, Animals, and Planet. Grow works with fisheries. Grow works with the biohacking world. Grow works with health practitioners and clinicians. Grow is not extractive — it is additive. It is a rising tide.

THE FARMER JEDI: A SHAMANIC CONFESSION

I am not writing this from a distance.

I am a Regenerative, Biodynamic, Organic, Permaculture, and Sustainable Farmer. I do not lean into labels — I work for outcomes. The outcome is living soil. The outcome is nutrient density. The outcome is food you can actually trust.

THE FORCE DECLARATION: THE GROW RENAISSANCE

There is a right that belongs to every human soul, the right to be nourished.

Not merely fed. Nourished.

Nourished in body, in mind, in spirit. Nourished by clean food and trusted, transparent systems. Nourished by land that gives and communities that grow. Nourished by purpose and prosperity.

We declare the end of extractive thinking.

We reject systems that drain the earth and the soul.

We know that value multiplies in the hands of many, and that true prosperity is not a zero-sum game. It is the natural result of aligned incentives, ethical design, and a reverence for life in all its forms.

Like Luke standing at the edge of the desert at twin sunset, daring to imagine something beyond the world he was born into, we stand at the threshold of a new paradigm.

We do not rise in conquest.

We rise in cultivation.

The commodity markets must be rethought. The ten conglomerates must be unseated. Ultra-processed food must give way to ultrareal food. Independent food makers, culinary artists, chefs, and farmers must reclaim sovereignty over their food supply.

Mental health. Chronic illness. Ecological collapse. These are not separate crises. They are one crisis, a crisis of disconnection from the living Force of nourishment.

And Grow is the answer.

Not because we say so.

Because the code is transparent. The chain is immutable. The community is growing. The Grodes are operational in ten countries. The soil is being healed. The water is being restructured. The producers are becoming heroes again.

YOUR INVITATION Come. Step away from the matrix of a broken financial system and a broken agri-food system. Come nourish yourself. Come be part of Grow. Come be an owner in this new ecosystem — not a user, not a consumer, not a subject — an owner. This is not charity. This is not activism. This is the most practical, the most technologically advanced, the most spiritually aligned economic ecosystem on the planet. The Rebellion needed ordinary people willing to take one extraordinary step. So does the Grow Renaissance. May the 4th be with you. May the Force — and your food — be with you always. And may the soil remember your name. Learn more and join the Grow ecosystem at growunited.com NourishMart | Farm Tracer | Live.Stock | Kohima | Smart Nodes | EcoMint Written in the spirit of where tradition meets technology — where the role of the healer is not to fix what is broken, but to remind the world of what it already knows. Shilajit: The Black Resin That Carries the Memory of Mountains

THE BLACK RESIN THAT CARRIES THE MEMORY OF MOUNTAINS

In nature, nothing is created and nothing is destroyed, but everything is transformed.
Antoine Lavoisier

Some substances are not created in a moment. They are formed through pressure, time, and the slow transformation of life itself.

WHERE MATTER TRANSFORMS BEYOND DEFINITION

High within mountain ranges where the air begins to thin and the rhythm of life shifts, there exists a substance that does not conform to conventional categories. It does not grow in the way plants grow, nor does it form in the way minerals are typically understood. It emerges gradually, pressed from layers of organic matter that have been subjected to centuries of compression, heat, and geological movement. What surfaces is neither purely botanical nor entirely mineral, but something that sits between both, shaped by forces that operate far beyond human timelines.

Shilajit is often described as a resin, dark, dense, and unrefined in appearance, yet what it carries within it is far more complex than its form suggests. It is the result of plant life breaking down and being transformed under sustained pressure, a process that does not rush and does not repeat itself within a single lifetime. To understand it properly requires stepping away from modern expectations of production and into something that has taken hundreds, if not thousands, of years to become what it is.

Its origins are most closely associated with the Himalayas, although it can also be found in other mountainous regions where similar environmental conditions exist. In these landscapes, layers of vegetation become trapped within rock formations and gradually decompose over time.

Through compression and mineralisation, this material is transformed into a substance rich in organic compounds and trace minerals, carrying within it the imprint of the environment that produced it.

Among these compounds, fulvic acid is often highlighted, not as a passing trend, but because of the role it plays in transport and absorption at a cellular level. It acts as a carrier, assisting the movement of nutrients into cells more efficiently and supporting processes the body already depends on to function well. This is where modern analysis begins to align with what traditional systems have long understood, particularly as research continues to explore its influence on cellular activity, nutrient delivery, and metabolic balance.

At a biochemical level, compounds within Shilajit have been associated with supporting mitochondrial efficiency, including pathways linked to CoQ10 function and ATP production, both of which are central to how the body generates and sustains usable energy. Its potential role in reducing oxidative stress further supports cellular resilience, influencing how the body repairs, recovers, and maintains stability under ongoing demand.

The body heals with the help of what it is able to absorb.

What defines Shilajit is not a single compound, but the intelligence of how multiple elements exist together, shaped by time, pressure, and environment.

The renewed interest in Shilajit reflects a broader shift in how people are beginning to understand energy, not simply as something to be increased, but as something to be sustained. Modern environments do not merely prioritise output; they condition reliance on stimulation while gradually reducing the body’s ability to generate energy independently. Over time, this creates a pattern in which the body is expected to perform continuously without being adequately supported to recover or restore itself. In this context, Shilajit becomes relevant again, not because it offers a quick solution, but because it supports what has been placed under prolonged strain. There is a clear distinction between stimulation and restoration, and confusing the two often leads to deeper imbalance. Rather than forcing temporary output, Shilajit works at the level of the systems responsible for producing and regulating energy, allowing the body to function with greater efficiency over time.

WHY IT HAS RE-EMERGED NOW

Where Science and Lived Experience Meet

The growing interest in Shilajit within performance and optimisation spaces reflects a shift away from short-term results and toward long-term function. At the same time, those working from ancestral or holistic frameworks continue to use it in ways that have remained largely unchanged, integrating it into daily routines in small, consistent amounts rather than treating it as something to be used occasionally.

Across both perspectives, the principle remains consistent. Its effects are not immediate, nor are they designed to be. They develop gradually, becoming noticeable through consistency rather than intensity, and reflecting the way in which the body adapts when it is supported over time.

Within Ayurvedic medicine, Shilajit has been used for thousands of years as a rasayana, a classification reserved for substances associated with longevity, vitality, and sustained strength. It was never positioned as a quick intervention, but as something that supports the body over time, particularly in relation to energy, resilience, and recovery. Its use was rooted in observation, not theory, and built upon a longstanding understanding of how the body responds when it is supported consistently rather than pushed intermittently.

A SUBSTANCE KNOWN LONG BEFORE IT WAS ANALYSED

From a contemporary perspective, Shilajit is most often discussed in relation to mitochondrial function, the system responsible for how energy is produced at a cellular level. This process influences far more than physical endurance. It shapes mental clarity, recovery capacity, and the body’s ability to maintain balance under stress, making it central to how energy is experienced across both physical and cognitive domains.

Ancient practitioners described it as carrying the strength of the mountains themselves, not as metaphor alone, but as a reflection of what it appeared to restore in those who used it. This understanding existed long before laboratory analysis, yet it aligns in notable ways with what is now being explored through modern research.

Emerging studies continue to examine Shilajit’s role in cellular energy production, cognitive function, and male reproductive health, particularly in relation to testosterone support and broader vitality markers. While research in this area is still developing, it continues to point toward the same conclusion reached through centuries of traditional use: its value lies in how it supports the body’s foundational systems rather than targeting isolated symptoms.

HOW IT IS USED AND WHAT IT REPRESENTS

Shilajit is typically consumed in small quantities, most often as a resin dissolved into a warm liquid, with the emphasis placed firmly on consistency rather than quantity. This allows the body to integrate its effects in a way that feels stable and sustainable, rather than reactive. Quality remains a defining factor, as sourcing and preparation directly influence its purity and effectiveness, making it essential to understand where it comes from and how it has been processed.

For those who approach health through a more conscious or energetic lens, Shilajit carries an additional layer of meaning that reflects its formation. It represents transformation through pressure, the retention of value through time, and the refinement that occurs when something is allowed to evolve without being forced. This is not separate from its physical nature, but an extension of it, mirroring the process through which it is formed.

Shilajit does not need to be positioned as extraordinary to be understood as valuable. Its strength lies in how it supports what the body already knows how to do, improving the efficiency of how energy is produced rather than attempting to create it artificially. In a culture that often seeks immediate results, this changes not only how it is used, but how it is understood.

Real strength rarely appears all at once. It is developed through time, shaped by pressure, and sustained through consistency. What forms in this way does not need to prove its value quickly, because it carries within it the quiet certainty of everything it has endured.

With love and light,

The Seeding

The most vital aspect of The Template lies in the Codes. Beyond the accumulation of information, The Template gifts the initiate with Sacred Ceremonial formulae that trigger the reconnection of the most fundamental life-force energy system, to resurrect the masterpiece of the original Human design.

Your heart/body/mind system is your personal instrument with which to function as an ambassador of light, an emissary of love, a conduit through which the Benevolence of Creation can infuse this reality, not only for your sake, but for the sake of those who, in countries across the globe, can feel the shift in the quality of time and light and know that portals of opportunity are opening through which they can transcend the pain and suffering that being Human has come to mean to them.

In the reconnection of your circuitry, you instigate an acceleration of electromagnetic Source Consciousness into this time/space frequency zone, undermining the present fear-based, conflict-riddled predominator world structure simply by being; each one of you adding a fractal of consciousness to the required critical mass of the new paradigm hologram. This ultimately creates a stable resonant field of evolutionary opportunity within which those who are unable consciously to take part ceremoniously can simply decide, on a soul level, to attune their being.

Your recalibrated vibration will be felt, by the tribal child on the African plain whose mother has been taken by Aids, by the pubescent soldier conscripted into a war he doesn’t understand, by the urban teenager reaching for his inherent right to experience bliss by taking up a needle.

Remember, it is not so much about time as about numbers: tell a friend!

The new paradigm will not be born of the mind alone. The new paradigm will be understood in the mind, felt in the heart and made tangible in the body.
