Ofsted 2012 Staffing News We would like to welcome Miss Heidi Heslop (Reception) and Miss Charlotte Pindar (Y4) to our Teaching Team. Miss Ami Crofts joins the Y1 team as a trainee teacher. Mrs Michelle Grant (Y4) and Mrs Sarah Salter (Reception) join the team as Teaching Assistants. Mrs Michelle Colburn (Y1) and Mr Daniel Ambler (Y5) move from playworker positions in school to Teaching Assistants. Miss Leanne De Silva has been asked to support a project in the USA so will re-join us later this year. In the meantime we have appointed, Mr Ryan Saeed as a Pupil Support Assistant Mrs Lynzie Houston joins the Office Team as Business Support Manager. Just to remind you, that Mrs Rickersey will be based at Mansel school for this term, but will be returning later this year. Mr Richard Owen (Assistant Principal), Miss Catriona Faraday (Assistant Principal), Miss Clare Slinn (Assistant Principal) and Mrs Anne Robson (Inclusion Director) are supporting Mrs Hayes (Principal) in the leadership of Monteney. We are also really pleased to welcome Mrs Susan Crossland back to school following her absence. We are delighted to let you know that Miss Seaton has had a baby girl, Beau. We would also like to congratulate Mr Owen on his wedding over the Summer, which even made then news. At Monteney we pride ourselves in having high standards. An important part of this is our dress code, which was agreed by governors fol- lowing consultation with parents. We would like to remind all parents that the school dress code is as follows: * Blue/White Polo type shirt (No slogans, except for school logo.) Plain white or blue T-shirts are acceptable. *Royal Blue school sweatshirt/cardigan or plain royal blue sweat- shirt/cardigan (No slogans) *Dark trousers or skirts, including dark jeans *Blue and white check summer dresses *Appropriate black footwear, such as trainers, flat enclosed shoes (no heeled shoes, flip flop type shoes or fash- ion boots) *Make-up and/or coloured nail polish should not be worn *Only stud or small sleeper earrings are to be worn. Watches are the only other jewellery items allowed Please ensure your child is in school uniform every day and help us keep our standards high. If you would like a full copy of the school uniform policy, please request one from school. Items of school uniform are available for purchase from the school office.
