I was smoothly riding the fifty. The motorcycle that my two uncles and mom learned to ride on. It was my turn. A couple years ago my grandpa said that when I know how to ride a bike without training wheels, I could ride a motorcycle. It was my time. The lake at the campground. I was there when I was a little kid. Now I was diving, jumping swimming without a life jacket. Making new friends, I was a natural. Unlike when I was 4, 5, or 6.The thing that made me laugh this time were the men who swam with their beer to a floating dock in the middle of the lake. We always went to the lake. Always out to the floating dock. And always running and jumping into the water. And almost always canoeing.
