Boats. Barbeques. Those o us who live here know that those are three o the very special things that make lie worth living in the Blue Water Area. We spend three o our seasons sailing. We wiggle our toes in the sand. We inhale all’s crisp breezes while gathered around a warm campfre barbequing with good riends. We are in awe o the ice ormations on the lake. We know we have a great story to tell those who are looking or a place to vacation, live or develop a business o any size. I want to help share our story and so I am proud to introduce to you my new regional publication, Blue Water Living: People. Places. Passions. Professions. Blue Water Living will soon become the Blue Water Area’s premiere periodic magazine-style publication and online resource or those looking or reasons to live or just play along the shores o Michigan’s Thumb. Because “quality o lie” is so signifcantly important to economic developers researching various locales or uture growth, stories in Blue Water Living will consist o a mix o tales o our relaxed, riendly and beachy liestyle, along with those sharing the economic advantages to operating a business or industry o any size in the greater Blue Water Area. All o us must work together to support the economic rebound o our community. This publication aims to provide a vehicle or sharing our story with others to encourage economic growth and development.
