More from Evolve Housing
It’s hard to believe we are already at our final edition of evolving news for 2016. What a year it has been for both Evolve Housing residents and staff.
Volunteering at Evolve Housing can be both professionally and personally rewarding. Homelessness and housing stress is a rapidly growing problem in Australia. Over 105,000 people are homeless and over 16,000 of these are children. By volunteering with us you will join our Evolve Housing team and make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.
As a community housing provider, we provide housing for those most in need. But shelter is just the beginning - it provides the opportunity to be part of a community and access support to rebuild lives and move forward, be it in employment, health and well-being, or even for some achieving the great Australian dream of home ownership.
Our Journey Home® series feature the personal stories of six Evolve Housing residents who have been through or are currently on their journey home. They are single mothers, refugees who fled persecution, people who have been homeless. They are stories of determination, courage, perseverance and very often, optimism. They are inspirational and real stories of human triumph.
The Evolve Housing annual report is a narrative report in which we aim to communicate our organisation’s story to our stakeholders. The annual report will focus on our activities during 2013-14 and how we as an organisation are delivering on our purpose. T
