On Oct 1, 2012, I quit my job in Los Angeles and moved to Barcelona. It was an opportune time in my life to take a chance and explore what else is out there in the world. I went in the intent of not only being inspired but to possibly finding work. Only after living there for a month did I see that Spain really was in a bit of turmoil and that work was pretty hard to find. As an outsider, I was curious as to what was going on in the minds of people around my age during this time of crisis and if was similiar to the same sort of experience as the youth in the United States. And so, I took to the streets and approached young people to ask for a photo as well as for them to answer questions about their the present situations in Spain and their thoughts on the future.
