The boats engine roared and then took off. Jake felt the wind blow on his face and watched the water sparkle. Suddenly a school of flying fish started jumping out of the water and back in, and different colors of coral with different shapes and sizes. After 45 minutes on the boat Jake started shouting, “Dad, dad come here quick!’’ Jakes dad turned off the boat and raced to Jake. Jakes dad asked “What's wrong?’’ Jake pointed down to the ocean then Jakes dad saw it… It swam around the boat and leaped out of the water over the boat and back in the water. Jakes dad and Jake ran to the 2 rods and in a matter of second both hooks were in the water waiting for a bite. After a few hours of fishing catching only little fishes Jakes dad finally said “I think its been a lot of fishing but now its time to go.” Jake started reeling in the rod when suddenly... The rod started moving forward Jake tried to reel it in and he felt a rush run throw his body with excitement and confidence. Jake knew it was a big fish then started trying to reel in the big fish. Jake watched the how the big fish tried to do anything he could to break the line it swam left it swam right it swam down and even jumped out of the water. Jake kept on pulling the line as hard as he could praying that the line wouldn't break. After a few twists and turns Jake heaved as hard as he could and the fish sprang out of the water and onto boat. Jake and Jakes dad just stared at the fish for a while its silver scales shined in the sunlight. Then the fish started flapping it's its tail like crazy because it couldn't breath. Jakes dad and Jake picked up the fish and gentle placed the fish in the bucket. Jake watched the fish the move around in the bucket. then Jakes dad picked up the fish to measure it. When Jakes dad was done measuring Jake looked at his dads face and on the look on Jakes dads face he knew it was a big fish. Jakes dad first gasped then told Jake Jake the measurement. Jake just stared at the fish then started jumping up and down shouting 27 inches, 27 inches, 27 inches. After Jake calmed down he just sat down and observed the fish move around. Then Jake watched the fish start to struggle because it wasn't getting enough water. Then the fish stared at Jake with a cold and scared blue eye.
