Business Bridge (B²) 2014 Student Handbook Welcome to the Business Bridge (B²) Program! The B² program provides a framework of success as you begin your Foster School of Business journey in an academically competitive, business ‐ focused environment. You were selected as a participant in this summer business bridge program based on your previous academic work and your interest in business as described in your personal statement. Your participation in this program is a jumpstart on your academic career and a preview of resources available to you at the University of Washington! As a B² student you will be participating in a four week total ‐ immersion program. During the program your week will be comprised of a daily schedule starting with three hours in a B² college writing prep course (BA490) with the remainder of the day focused on business programming. During the B² programming, all students will participate in a wide variety of activities including: business exploration topics, community involvement, peer and professional networking, and college transition seminars. To assist in the coordination of the B² program, the Foster School of Business Undergraduate Diversity Services and corporate partners ‐ Boeing, Deloitte, EY, KMPG, PwC, Seattle City Light and Target have teamed together to offer you this outstanding opportunity. Students who are unable to assume these responsibilities may jeopardize their participation in the program . You represent your family, school, and community.
