As soon as she spoke her opinion, she got arrested. S he was known as “The Facebook Girl” and to everyone she was powerful. During her time in prison, she became a well-known icon. Today Esraa is a project manager for the Egyptian Democratic Academy, which was a non-governmental group. In this group they are free to talk about their opinions about human right values.
