Story, Page B1 WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2014 POST REGISTER A 2 people talk NEW YORK (AP) — NBC News medical reporter Nancy Snyderman will be back on the network today after being shelved for more than a month fol- lowing a vio- lation of her quarantine for possible Ebola exposure. A network executive who spoke on condition of anonymity because it was a personnel matter said Tuesday that Snyderman will report on a medical issue for the “Today” show and NBC’s “Nightly News.” The story won’t be about Ebola. There was some question about whether the veteran medical jour- nalist would ever return to NBC News. She had been reporting on the Ebola outbreak in Liberia for NBC in October at the time a cam- eraman who briefly worked with her, Ashoka Mukpo , came down with the deadly virus. Mukpo was transferred back to the United States for treatment and has since recovered. Griffin new ‘Fashion’ host NEW YORK (AP) — Kathy Griffin will be terrorizing the fashion crowd as the new host of “Fashion Police,” replac- ing the late Joan Rivers when it returns to E! in January. The comic-commentary series, which had aired weekly, will now present 17 special episodes throughout 2015 that focus on high-profile red carpet and fashion events, E! announced Monday. But nearly a century before his name found its way into pop psy- chology, Peter Pan was born as the high-flying hero of a play by Scottish writer James M. Barrie . Many adaptations later, 1954’s Broadway musical version of “Peter Pan” came to TV in a live NBC telecast in 1955, then was re-staged a year later with Mary Martin yet again in the title role. Now NBC is recapturing its youth for a revival of “Peter Pan,” broadcast live Thursday and starring Allison Williams (“Girls”) as Peter, the cocky young champion of Neverland, and Christopher Walken as the deliciously evil pirate, Captain Hook. The cast also includes Christian Borle, Kelli O’Hara and Minnie Driver as the narrator. Officially titled “Peter Pan Live!” this three-hour event is a follow-up to last year’s live “The Sound of Music,” which drew 18.6 million viewers. today’s quiz Isaac Asimov’s Super Quiz Subject: CHARACTER CRE- ATORS: TV AND COMICS Name the creator.
