PW BAKED POTATO DINNER Who doesn’t love a tasty baked potato? The PW Baked Potato Dinner will be held Wednesday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. Sign up at the Information Table and plan to bring a topping. Please join us for this tasty dinner. As always, (for you non-potato eaters) there will be chicken nuggets available. We look forward to fun and fellowship with the women of Wayside! ART DISPLAY IN THE PARLOR “Through the Eyes of the Artist” exhibit is available for viewing in the Parlor. The art works of Dorothy Hutzelman’s brother, Herb Abraham, are on display. When you visit, use the guide to learn about his unique and varied paintings. CHURCH OFFICER NOMINATING The Nominating Committee is just beginning its work and would welcome input from members of the congreagation. If you have ideas about who you think would be a good church officer – Elder, Deacon, or Trustee – please fill out one of the forms on the Information Table and place it in the designated box. All suggestions will be reviewed and given full consideration by the Committee. Thanks for your help. BELL RINGERS NEEDED! The Sanctuary Bell Choir is looking for several new ringers! The Sanctuary Bells is Wayside’s adult bell choir. We meet each Monday night from mid-September to the first week of May at 6:30 p.m in the sanctuary, with practices lasting an hour or so. We try to perform once a month from October – May and also play on Christmas Eve at the 10:00 p.m. service and both services on Easter morning. The ability to read music is helpful, but not mandatory. If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity to be a member of this dedicated (and fun!) group of musicians, please contact Ron May (director) at 833-6248. STEWARDSHIP OPPORTUNITIES SECOND SATURDAY PROJECT Our project this month takes us to the Second Harvest Food Bank next Saturday, September 20 th .
