2 We extend a warm welcome to new families joining us this week. On behalf of the College Community I pray you have a blessed time with us as we partner with you in educating your child. BIG NEWS: We have received news that our application to build a new SCIENCE AND VISUAL ARTS classrooms at the College has been successful! This new building is positioned at the back of our current Library. It will be accessible via a walkway along the side of the library with plans to build an extended bridge between the library and these new learning spaces. The new build will also provide some further undercover areas below the upstairs classrooms. We are thrilled with this further development of our College. These steps allow us to offer first class facilities that reflect our first class Trinity College educational offerings. Further details of this Stage.2. build are within this week’s newsletter. We will keep you posted on the development of this second stage build as it progresses. Well Done Trinity College! Many thanks to the parents who attended our parent evening last week hosted by Youth Excel. This session talked through the youth issues that social media and technology have created and how to respond to this in the life of our children. A big thank you to the P&F who provided a delicious supper for this night. This week is another busy week of Living and Learning as our students continue to demonstrate their skills and abilities. The College is in the midst of assessments and it is vital that your children are in attendance during these peak times of testing and assessing. Please contact the office if your child is unwell during these times to notify us of any essential absences. Have a truly blessed week!
