Quality Forum 2014 will feature two days of presentations and interactive workshops on a variety of topics related to improving quality across the continuum of care. The event presents a great opportunity to learn new skills, discuss opportunities and challenges, and network with others interested in improving health care in British Columbia.
The BCPSQC is leading the way to health quality in BC. Through collaborative partnerships with health authorities and other health care providers, we are working towards a system-wide, patient-centred approach to patient safety and quality improvement throughout the province. This inaugural report chronicles the progress we’ve made on the path so far.
What does it take to build a health system where quality and improvement are embedded into everything we do? That’s the question we posed to ourselves when compiling our new report to our partners. The report documents our work over the past 2.5 years. It’s an overview of our clinical improvement work, how we’re building capacity and capability within the system to lead improvement projects, and how we’re supporting our growing community of people passionate about delivering the best care possible.
