  Fremont   City   Schools   Drug   Testing   Policy   tm061413                                                                                                                                                        Page   2   of   9     1.    DEFINITIONS     A.   ATHLETICS     Any   student   participating   in   a   Fremont   City   Schools   athletic   program   which   includes,   but   is   not   limited   to:    Baseball,   Basketball,   Bowling,   Cheerleading,   Cross   Country,   Diving,   Football,   Golf,   Hockey,   Soccer,   Track   &   Field,   Tennis,   Softball,   Swimming,   Volleyball   and   Wrestling.     B.   EXTRACURRICULAR   ACTIVITIES     Any   student   participating   in   a   Fremont   City   Schools    extracurricular   activity,   which   includes,   but   is   not   limited   to:    Pep   Band,   Solo/Ensemble   contests,   Fall   Musical,   Spring   Musical,   AFS,   Art   Club,   Athletic   Club,   Black   History   Month   Committee,   Chess   Club,   Communications   Committee,   Dance   Team,   Drama   Club,   Excellence   Rewarded,   French   Club,   Freshman   Class   Cabinet,   Future   Farmers   of   America,   Hispanic   Heritage   Committee,   Junior   Class   Cabinet,   Key   Club,   My   Voice   Student   Focus   Group,   National   Honor   Society,   Photography   Club,   Quiz   Bowl,   SADD   Club,   Science   Club,   Senior   Class   Cabinet,   Sophomore   Class   Cabinet,   Spanish   Club,   Student   Council   and   The   Link.     C.   CO ‐ CURRICULAR   ACTIVITIES     Any   student   participating   in   a   Fremont   City   Schools   co ‐ curricular   activity,   which   includes,   but   is   not   limited   to   the   following:    Marching   Band,   Concert   Band,   Jazz   Band,   Concert   Choir,   Show   Choir,   Orchestra,   Glee,   Theater   Arts,   Chatter   and   Yearbook.     D.   STUDENT   DRIVER     Students   who   drive   to   school   and   park   on   school   property.     E.   RANDOM   SELECTION     A   system   of   selecting   students   for   drug   and   alcohol   testing   in   which   each   student   shall   have   a   fair   and   equitable   chance   of   being   selected   each   time   selections   are   required.     F.   ILLEGAL/ILLICIT   DRUGS     Any   substance   included   in   21   U.S.C.   §   802(6),   which   an   individual   may   not   sell,   offer   to   sell,   possess,   give,   exchange,   use,   distribute   or   purchase   under   State   or   Federal   Law.    This   definition   also   includes   steroids,   all   prescribed   and   over ‐ the ‐ counter   drugs   being   used   in   any   way   other   than   for   medical   purposes   in   accordance   with   the   directions   for   use   provided   for   in   the   prescription   or   by   the   manufacturer.
