In recent weeks we've been studying animals and the variety of physical and structural adaptations they can have. This design challenge had students collaborating with a peer to create their very own imaginary animal with the materials donated by parents. They had to create an animal by using at least three different materials, that could stand on its own, and had at least one moving part or adaptation that would enable it to live in its habitat. Here are our final products!
