July 19, 2011 6 hours Compiled and organized data for current year monitoring forms and teacher evaluation of student performance for post exit data for former English language learners. One of the most laborious tasks that I completed during this week was the management and updating of the online language learning program for the English language learners, Rosetta Stone. With 25 teachers and 150 language participants, I had to make sure that the system was updated with the proper information. The Rosetta Stone update will be ongoing until all information has been updated and all teacher administrator accounts have been created July 21, 2011 6 hours I attended GRASP meeting where discussion were focused on using the new skills assessment tool to identify student areas of weakness and plan intervention activities accordingly. My task includes working with other ESOL and content area teachers to determine how this new diagnostic assessment task can be used in conjunction with the English language proficiency assessment to design instruction for linguistically diverse students.
