He will also develop new franchises throughout Los Angeles, Coachella Valley, Riverside and San Diego Counties, and focus on creating new programs to increase sales for Windermere franchise owners and their agents. Mark is a real estate industry veteran with a career record in national sales just under $500 million, and he has been consistently ranked in the top 1 percent of agents worldwide. As chief operating officer at First Team Real Estate, he was instrumental in the real estate brokerage’s rapid growth. Prior to that, he spent eight years as the owner and broker of a Sotheby's International Realty affiliate. Hughes is the author of the popular industry book and workshop series, “Branded Agent.” He is an accomplished industry speaker, media talent, and former HGTV National Open House host. Hughes holds multiple broker licenses and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Mark lives with his wife Judy in Los Angeles."
