This is an example of the life of an elephant who has been captured from the wild and bought into the tourism industry. It's life is full of malnutrition, violent training, mistreatment, long work hours, and an unnatural setting. The elephant once acts out from all the pain it has felt during it's life and hurt a tourist in the midst. The elephant then has to be put down. However, the cycle continues on, contributing to the endangerment of the elephant.
