Today we’re releasing another software update: a Print option for your flipbooks. It allows you (and readers) to print your Flipsnack publication directly from your computer or mobile device, if it is connected to a printer.
We don’t do printing on demand (we don’t have contracts with printing houses to make these for you), so please don’t order copies through our service. Continue reading
At this time last year we went fully-HTML5 on you, replacing old and slow Flash technology with new and improved HTML5. We were only focused on giving you the best technology available so we didn’t change the overall look of the widget. This year we’re excited to announce our new modern widget that will give your publications a freshly polished look.
We’ve been working on multiple new features and we think you’ll love Flipsnack even more once you give these new features a try. Just yesterday we announced the new full-screen reader URL, but we have more surprises on the way.
Today we made it possible for publishers to schedule a publishing date for their publications. Continue reading
Starting today, there’s a new way to share your flipbooks.
Do you like how your magazines look in the full-screen mode? There are no distractions, advertising or other elements crowding the page, it’s just your content. Now imagine having a similar display in the browser, because we’ve made that possible! Continue reading
On May 2, 2017, Flipsnack will change its existing pricing plans. If you are a premium user, or if you’re considering buying a subscription, you should read this article, because it might answer your questions.
Will it affect my current subscription?
This update will not affect anyone who has an active premium subscription, so you don’t need to worry. You will be able to keep your subscription for as long as it stays active. Just make sure that you don’t cancel the renewal by mistake. Also, please make sure that you have a valid card on file and enough funds in your bank account if you want your current subscription to renew after the current billing cycle. Continue reading
We’re very excited today, because it’s the day we release the new editor. It’s a time-saver, and we think you’ll love it.
We built it especially for users who work with PDFs (which is 97% of you), and it only works for PDF editing. Most of you use the editor just to add links, rather than to create from scratch, so it will work just fine for you. You can access the editor from My Flipbooks – Try new editor.
- The new editor is a stripped-down version of the former (still in beta). We’ll be adding more features soon.
- The old editor is the default for everyone, because it is packed with layouts and features for content creation. But don’t worry, that will be redesigned as well, soon.
- If you edit an existing flipbook, you will be directed to the old editor, for now.
7 years ago when I was still in high-school, I had a teacher whom never asked us to write anything down. Of course, his approach was blamed by a lot of other teachers, but his theory was that if you focus on anything else (writing) other than his explanations, you are losing precious time. So he would always send us the presentation at the end of each lesson.
Nowadays, this scenario is encountered more often, but there are still teachers who are reticent when it comes to the use of technology in education. Here are our top 50 reasons why you should consider adding flipbooks and other digital material in your teaching technique. Continue reading
This is the 5th part of the Indesign tutorial series. So far we’ve talked about preparation, adding elements, creating new pages and about
Once you’ve checked that everything is in order, it is time to save your catalog. In Indesign we don’t have a SAVE AS option, so we have to click EXPORT.
Now pay attention to the following steps, because the export settings depend on the final use of your catalog: print or digital. Continue reading
Everybody loves a good Black Friday deal. Some of us are willing to fight for it in overcrowded stores, stay in line for hours or even camp overnight in front of a retail store. Others stay away from physical shops on Black Friday to avoid these packed, busy places. Instead, they hunt for online Black Friday deals. Continue reading
We use shelves to store stuff and to display decorative accessories in our homes. The digital version of the shelf is not much different. It’s basically a mini library that looks nice and lets you display multiple flipbooks in a single widget. You and your readers get quick access to whatever it holds. Continue reading
You asked for it, so we made it possible: now you can send beautiful emails that feature a flipbook snippet. This is very exciting!
It’s a marvelous way to send email newsletters that look professional, but require zero talent and zero effort from you. Give it a try and you will love it. Continue reading
