I’m going to tell you about the good and bad things about the mobile software, notes on the apple device. Notes does not cost anything it’s downloaded automatically in all apple devices. When you first open notes it’s very simple and easy to use. When you have opened it, you should see the word accounts in the top left corner. This will open up your notes in email, your phone, etc. On the top right corner there will be the word new. You will be taken to a blank writing page. This is where you will write or take notes. On this page you will find a arrow pointing up which if clicked on will allow you to send your notes through email/ text or to copy/print. In the bottom middle you will see a little trashcan, this lets you throw away any notes you don’t need anymore. On the right bottom corner, there is a pencil and a paper this is for starting a new notes page. If you click on the notes arrow on the top left it will take you back to all the notes you have already written. When you are finished writing a note you should press down in the top right corner. Your work will be saved automatically after that, and you can go back into it anytime you want to make changes. Even though notes has many features it doesn’t give you the ability to check your trash. What if you were to accidentally throw out something important that you needed for class? I think a old trash section should be added to this app. This app also doesn’t have a bold or font size. You can't highlight/bold/underline important words. Also if you accidentally delete words you need, but you forgot what they were. Notes should have a back button. Yes I could have written my review on notes, it has everything you need for writing reviews. A cool function of this app is it lists the exact date and time it was written, so you know exactly when you wrote the note. I would recommend it for students to do their homework if it's small work. I would not recommend writing 5 paragraph essays in notes because it can't change your font or underline important things in your essay. I would say to only use notes in an emergency. I would only use it then as a last resource because notes doesn’t have all the features you need to write essays. You should only use it if it’s a small report or if you’re taking minimal notes. Typing on the keyboard can lead to many mistakes and it get’s troublesome/ repetitive to fix your mistakes. Also sometimes notes automatically spell checks so you won’t know if it changes the word does to dog, etc. Overall notes is a good software it has many great things in it, but it also has a few bad things about it. Which, is why I would only use it as a last resource.
