Inspiration catalog for the SUNY Innovative Instruction Technology Grant for the UB Career Services online career modules.
In June of 2012, I was hired as the Coordinator of Marketing and College Communications at Villa Maria College. Due to the tough economical times, being a private institution as well as many other challenges, Villa Maria College was slowly trending downward in enrollment making an impact on the stability of the institution. My position would focus on rebranding the institution, with hopes of changing public perception, gaining awareness of our degree programs and meeting our enrollment projections. This presentation reviews the progression of the new brand as it evolved over the last year. Please note, I did not design this pieces but rather directed our agency with my ideas, focus on our target markets and maintaining consistency. My goal was to highlight the true essence of Villa, an institution that is a leader in arts and music as well as physical therapy. I am essentially, the brand ambassador making sure we are achieving our goals, the brand is maintained and we are taking calculated risks to achieve our desired result, whether it is through advertising, print, radio, television, social media and our web presence.
