This intensive two-day course has been specifically designed to be practical and hands-on. It is suitable for anyone who wants to develop a solid understanding of Digital Marketing. Students will have the opportunity to apply the fundamentals directly in class with guidance of a seasoned Digital Marketing expert. Although not overly technical, during the class you will create new accounts, implement optimized content and analyse visitor datasets. Class sizes are restricted to ten with each student working on a dedicated computer and students will apply digital marketing techniques throughout the course. The course will be delivered over two days with a 3-week period between the two course days to allow for assignments. On day one, you will learn the fundamentals. Each student starts will be assigned a blank website that they will populate. This approach gives each student a unique opportunity to apply theory with application of the various digital marketing techniques taught in class. The Topics : Day 1 Introduction & Student Platform Students receive course materials and a bespoke platform that they will work on for the duration. Search Engine Optimisation (Fundamentals) In this section you will cover the theory and application of SEO strategies. After discussing the theory, the class will optimize their own content by applying all learning on a practical level. Google Analytics (Fundamentals) Covering the basics of Google Analytics this section will include the creation and implementation of the Google Tracking codes on your student page.
