NORTHERN POWER NETBALL NEWS | Issue # 4 2 www.northernpowernetball.com | northernpowernetballclub@gmail.com PLAYER/TRAINER OF THE WEEK MEET OUR SUPERSTARS TEAM PERFORMANCE MEET OUR SUPERSTARS U11B ’s Wrap by Emily Bull Heading into Round 12, our hardworking Power 11 ’ s continue to make me smile! What an awesome group of girls & families we have. Whilst we played well against the Kittens, there were some aspects of the game that were a little rusty after a couple of weeks with no netball! Round 11 against the Dolphins 15 saw us play with 7 players for the first time this season. I was really impressed with the girls ’ fitness levels and ability to keep up their intensity up all game. Power 11 ’ s played an exceptionally clean game with minimal penalties conceded across the court, they all controlled the ball with precision and our shooters were absolutely on fire! They definitely deserved their 40-4 win. We are looking forward to some challenges ahead as we come up against the other top 5 teams in the comp, and the Charlestown Carnival. For some of our girls, this will be their very first carnival - very exciting for all the team and our supporters. Big shout out to our umpire Emma. She is doing such a great / consistent job each week, and we are so proud to have you on board with Northern Power. Go POWER!
