“I know Fortuanto, but you knew my situation.” I told him. I lied to him saying I didn ʼ t have the money but truth be told, I did have more than enough I just didn ʼ t want to go anywhere with him. I nally looked up at the man that I hated more than life itself in the eyes. Fortuanto, the multi millionaire, The famous football star , Lives in a huge mansion up in Hollywood with his beautiful wife and nice looking kids. “Excuse me um Mr. Fortuanto sir umm sorry to interrupt but, can I have your autograph please.” Some young boy with a football in his arm and a pen in his hand came over and asked. “Sure thing little man who am I making this out to.” Fortuanto asked the young boy taking the football out of his hand ready to sign. “Um De ʼ Nair..... De ʼ Nair Adams.” De ʼ Nair stammered. “De ʼ Nair Adams..... here you go kid.” Fortuanto signed the football giving it back. “T-Thank you Mr. Fortuanto.” De ʼ Nair replied happily. “Please... my friends call me Fortuanto.” He smiled saying to De ʼ Nair while rufing with his hair. “Thank you again Mr.... Oh yea you going to college.” He said going right back to pressuring me. I couldn ʼ t help but feel annoyed by how that kid praised him and how he just threw it in my face. “You know there are free ones right we could have been in football together.” Fortuanto said. That is what makes me angry about the rotten creature. He ʼ s always trying to tell me what to do like he ʼ s my father. “I couldn ʼ t they wouldn ʼ t accept me.” I lied not looking at him but my menu. “Man i have to tell you.. your life isn ʼ t good. You have nothing going on for yourself. You need to try again to get into another college and get a degree and come to the league with me .” Fortuanto tried to help. Where it all began.... ""
