Wally’s crew has completed the Arnold West project, and as of this date, we only have another 2 or 3 days le on Stapleton North. This group will move down to Hershey for I-80 work this fall. This project is set up to carry over into 2015, but we plan to at least get the boom lis on. Ron’s group has had to move around quite a bit. Since the last update they have completed the Bale Creek North/ In Tilden work and also completed the asphalt work for the Paving Department on Cozad to Lexington. The plant has been moved to the Indianola gravel pit for the work on Highway 89 Danbury to Lebanon and Lebanon to N-47 and in McCook. We also have subcontractors working on Sargent South, Arnold West and Bale Creek North. In the latest state leng we picked up the Arnold East job at $6.3 million and Rose South at $1.58 million. Thanks to all for your hard work in geng this work accomplished in a safe and mely manner. Well, we have returned to normal acvity, which is a good thing. The Ready Mix division had a two week stretch at the end of July like I have never seen before. I think we were all ready for it to slow a bit. Both the Hwy. 30 white-topping job and the wind farm job were nishing up at the same me, along with all the other nice projects going on at the same me. We denitely had a record month of producon, and for that I want to thank all the division employees for many hours of overme and tremendous dedicaon to get the job done. We do sll have a lot of work to get done before the snow ies this Winter. Cozad will be supplying the rest of the Cozad Canal bridge project, a new Dollar General and another hog building. Lexington is sll working on the Volvo project, the hospital expansion and Denny is paving in town. Gothenburg is started on the Interstate bridge and two nice jobs for our building crews at NSG and Cubby’s Truck Stop. Broken Bow is hauling over to the Sargent South project on both the bridge and boxes, the judicial building and a new car wash. Holdrege is sll paving with TCW and Blessing, and also the oors at the new school. Arapahoe is about to start a nice box culvert project down by Hendley. Ogallala is sll working on the Walmart project, will have our paving crew starng shortly, and also will be supplying Cement Products with the Big Springs interstate crossovers. North Plae is working with Simons on the two South Plae River bridges. Je is sll at the Lone Creek Cale lot north of Broken Bow and Ma has moved to Elm Creek to start on a couple concrete grain silos at the KAAPA Elevator.
