Aster walked through the halls of the lementary School, her shoulder-length red- streaked hair flowing behind her to put her bag in her locker when something swooshed behind her at the locker next to hers. She thought is must be Jack, that kid who was always trying to annoy her. "Ja-" she started with a stern look on her face, but it wasn't Jack who was standing there, it was a small blonde girl putting her books away who glanced up at her nervously. "Umm.. Hi. Are you new here?" Aster asked hopefully wanting a straightforward answer because anyone she'd try to talk to, would stammer and take off. " Y-y-yes ma'am," she stammered as Aster rolled her eyes. She got this reply a lot. "Ok then, what's your name? And don't 'ma'am' me." Aster asked and tried to lower the sternness and bossiness. It might've come out weird on her face, but she didn't care. This was actually turning out better than she'd expected it to. This time the girl managed to stammer less, almost not at all." A-amber," she said a bit more confidently. "Wha-what's yours?" she asked. "Me? Oh, I'm Aster. Cool name, by the way." Aster replied. Amber laughed a bit, which made Aster feel a bit more comfortable. Aster didn't have many friends, so this was a big thing for her. Wow, that was easier than I thought. But it wouldn't hurt to be a little more careful from now... She asked Amber, " Hey wanna walk to class together?" This was actually a test, and Aster expected her to say no, but she said,"Yeah, sure! Wait for me!" Aster was testing Amber's clinginess, and her answer was, whoa, she's clingy, better get rid of her as fast as I can .
