Incidentally, I thought to myself before last week, “I’m never going to learn to solve those big cubes. What a pain! That’s got to be far too much work and looks amazingly difficult!!!” To my surprise, there’s really not much to it! Here’s how I learned: I received my Jedi training on the first two steps from the following video: http://youtu.be/vArGJLLdWh8 (The title is “ Simplest Tutorial for 4x4 Rubik's Cube (Learn in 25 minutes) ” and it is one of the first videos listed when you search for “4X4 Rubik’s Cube” in either YouTube or Google Videos). I highly recommend it! This young man put together an extremely clear and well organized video tutorial. The truth is... I’d even say (without hesitation) that I couldn’t have done any better myself- and I’m very picky!!! Actually, besides the actual instruction being fantastic I’ve never seen such clear “bookmarks” along the top and sides of a video. Wow! HOWEVER... As great as this video is, I prefer using a different method than the one in the video above for what he calls “building the final edges”. This happens at the 22:42 mark. At that point, I humbly recommend switching over to the following video: http://youtu.be/EeiieWewUDY (The title is “ How To Solve The 4x4 Rubik's Cube (Part 2) ” and this video is also one of the first listed when you search for “4X4 Rubik’s Cube” in either YouTube or Google Videos).
