The Festival is celebrating its 40 th year by inviting 40 local emerging artists to play music from open to close on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It’s going to be like nothing we’ve seen before at the Festival, we are expect- ing thousands of new attendees who will be coming for the music. We are also having a fireworks display on Saturday night at 8 pm (weather permitting, of course). BIG doings, do you remember the last time you experienced fireworks in Glastonbury? Are you looking for an affordable way to reach our attendees? Volun- teer for a couple of hours, wear your company brand on your tee - shirt or hat for all the guests to see. Volunteer as a team in the same area such as the Pie Booth and wear matching shirts (American Eagle has done this very effectively). We need upwards of 300 volunteers to en- sure the enjoyment and safety of our attendees and we have a time slot that will work for just about everyone. Volunteers get a free festival tee - shirt and free admission. The earlier you sign up, the more flexible the opportunities. We have revamped our sponsorship packages to offer maximum flexi- bility for the supporters of the Festival. With a variety of price ranges, your banner can be hung at a choice of locations (first come, first served). We will have an insert in the Hartford Courant listing our sponsors and the Festival will be promoted through Clear Channel Ra- dio. The earlier you decide to sponsor, the greater exposure you will re- ceive! Sponsors are listed on our website, in our Weekly Highlights and in promotional materials, so join us early to maximize your oppor- tunity. Don’t forget we have a 5K, 1K and Kids Fun Run on Sunday morning right down by the festival. It’s grown to be a family favorite – register online today! Mark your calendar – October 17, 18 & 19!
