Any other strategies to help promote a healthy relationship between the leagues Coaching Philosophy: Adrian Burgiel as Senior Coach, will oversee the Football Club’s game plan and training philosophy. Both under 18’s and under 16’s coaching staff will develop their o wn similar coaching philosophy, rules and strategy. The junior program will be closely aligned to that of Gippsland Power with the view of developing the players to compete successfully in Gippsland’s major league. This strategy should cover the following: Skill development Fitness and Conditioning Game knowledge Winning games in a team environment Personal development This coaching philosophy will be implemented by all Moe Junior coaches. This will create a benchmark for the quality of coaching, as well as a standardised approach to coaching. All junior coaches will work closely with the senior coach to ensure smooth progression of junior footballers into playing senior football. It is the aim of all coaches to ensure every player is given the opportunity to play at the highest possible standard. No individual will be held back for the purpose of winning games. Training Nights: The under 16’s and under 18’s will begin their pre -season training on the 19 th November 2014. They will then train Wednesday nights until the 17 th December 2014. Training will start at 5:00pm – 6:15pm. Players are expected to bring the following: Appropriate footwear (Runners for pre-season) Right training attire i.e. Football Shorts and training singlet (Moe singlets will be available in early 2015) Personal water bottle Football (if it is required and in good condition) All players are expected to be changed and ready to commence training by 5:00pm. If for any reason you will be late or unable to attend you will be expected to notify the coaching
