Follow Rondebosch rugby on Twitter for fixtures and results: @BoschRugby RUGBY REPORT: WYNBERG This traditional derby ended with two first teams entertaining the crowd with good, constructive rugby with ball in hand and solid defence. After conceding nine tries in the first round earlier this year, the Bosch team came out determined to redeem themselves - and that is exactly what they did! They played very well, never backing off an inch, and set up good opportunities to score. They were unlucky, though, not to convert at least two of those chances into tries after crossing the Wynberg tryline. Earlier matches on the top fields made me proud to be part of the Rondebosch culture. Both the U15A and U16A matches were lost by a mere three point margin after both teams had the opportunity to draw the match in the dying moments, but true to the Bosch spirit, neither team wanted to ‘ kiss their sisters ’ and rather went for the win. The one team that needs to be mentioned for their passion, team spirit and good quality of rugby is the third team. For two weekends in a row watching them play has been highly entertaining and good for the soul. They gave everything for the team and clearly play for each other.
