November 20, 2014 signicant protection for China that I only used to see in News and pictures. Members of my group crawled like every great Qin Shi Huang’s soldier climbing limitless stairs, through the mountain that lead to ‘The Great Wall’, and the unbounded handle stuck with wooden stairs. I hoped I was back in the peaceful and soft bed in Park Plaza hotel. What! Why are we not taking a cable car to climb? Wind dissolved with 0 degree temperature slapped my face and my skin. While hiking up the wall, I saw one old grandpa who sold chocolates and sweet stu s above the mountain, watched far sky pitifully like the soldiers up on The Great Wall who looked below the wall to tease them. The UNESCO World Heritage conrmed the o cial name ‘The Great Wall’. It measures about 21,196km(13,171ml) with a series of fortications made by stone, brick, wood and other metals. Built from east to the west line across the northern borders of China to protect Chinese Empires from enemy, the wall was built in early 7th century. It functioned properly between 220-206 BC when Qing Sheng Huang became an Emperor of China. Since his death, The Great Wall rapidly collapsed by attack of enemies. However, in Ming dynasty, The Great Wall was reconstructed again and reached until far western part. 2 Peek of the Great Wall “Crawled like every great Qin Shi Huang’s soldier climbing limitless stairs, through the mountain that lead to ‘The Great Wall” Demonstration the great soldiers above ‘The Ancient City Wall’ (Photo Taken by Mr.Fred Bilenky)
