Our School Vision Aspire Believe Enhance Achieve Welcome to the Warmley Park yearbook for 2014. This is a celebration of our pupils and their achievements. I would like to recognise the commitment of staff in making Warmley Park a happy and supportive place for each child’s educational journey . Everyday we see our pupils developing their confidence and self-esteem, their skills, knowledge and understanding, their independence and their communication. I am incredibly proud of all our pupils and the progress the make as they move through the school. This year we started with a visit from Ofsted inspectors who judged Warmley Park to be a good school. We rewrote the school vision with the help of the whole community. We have had some amazing activities and events: World Book Day celebration, Saturday Superguys, the opening of the Warmley Wheelers project, work experience, Jubilee Challenge and the Warmley Park World Cup. The new Life Skills room is being well used with students developing their independence and hopefully helping out a bit more at home! I would like to thank the Friends of Warmley Park for supporting us with developing our outdoor play and learning areas. The secondary outdoor recreational area now has accessible fitness equipment and the outdoor learning area for Oak class has been astro-turfed and fitted with a new playhouse. A large group of leavers will move on from Warmley Park this year to a range of settings including Soundwell College, Lufton College in Yeovil, Ruskin Mill College in Stroud, Elm Tree Farm in Stapleton and the Bingham Centre. We all wish them much happiness and success in the future. They will be missed. This is our first Warmley Park yearbook- I hope you like it! Lisa Parker Headteacher
