IST 6654 : This course covers advanced techniques and tools for the design and development of web-based media, including text, graphics, animation, audio, and video. This course is an advanced version of Web and Digital Media Development, with additional assignments. Course Prerequisites: IST 1750 Required Materials: Missouri S&T account with a web volume (w drive). Important : Check and make sure you have a “W” drive mounted when you log into your account on a Missouri S&T computer. If you don’t, contact IT right away and have them set up a W (web) drive for you. You will need this for a number of the assignments. Recommended Materials: • Head phones for working with audio, and listening to tutorials in the lab. • External hard drive at least 100 GB for working with video. • Software (or access to software: available on campus at CSF 114): o Camtasia Studio 8 o Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2
