MY WORST INJURY “Tag!” I said. I was climbing a rope course playing tag. I was in my school in Japan. “Run away!” I yelled. I quickly scaled away. The person that was it started climbing. “I am coming for you lorenzo!” announced my friend, Kai. I was climbing really fast. “wait, I just got myself cornered.” I thought. I could see Kai’s hand reaching out, closer, closer, and closer. “Tag.” “Man, you always go for me.” “Because you always go for me.” “Go for me.” said my other friend. “oh, I will.” I started scaling fast...past the beginning...through the middle...up to the top...and next to my friend. faster than I have climbed before. I stopped, “ You just got yourself cornad.” I said. “Tagwawawaaaaaahhh!” I started descending to the ground. I went down fast.”offfff, ah, yh,...” THUMPPPPP. I couldn’t move, I could barely breath. “huhh, ahhhhhh.” I touched my face, and felt a wave of pain wash over me . I started to get up. “ssssssss, what happened, all I remember was losing my grip.” Then I suddenly realized I was seeing double. “You must be Kai 1, and Kai 2, oh, oh wait, no sorry. “Here, I will bring you to the nurse, how does it feel?” He asked while we walked to the nurse.”It hurts when you touch it.” I said. When we were near, “I can walk now.” “You sure?” “yeah.” I started walking. THWUMMP. “Ok, walk me.” When we barged into the nurse office, the nurse asked, “What happened!” And I said sarcastically, “I fell.” Then she said worriedly, “Oh, what a scratch.” and I said, “Yeah, I know.” then she was sighed, “It will heal over time, and here is a ice pack.” “ok, thanks.” I thanked. The rest of the day went fast, and I didn’t care. Then, the bus ride. On the bus all the people were like, "what happened, get in a fight?" Or, "Nice mask, where did you get it?" It was humiliating. Finally, I got home. When I got to the bus stop, "Get in a fight with a wrestler?" "Ha ha, what will you say if I said that to you?" "I would..." He couldn't finish his sentence because we entered. Then, my mom saw me..."WHAT HAPPENED!" From that day, Lorenzo never climbed really fast or he will fall and freak out his mom. “Hey, Lorenzo,” said Kai, “want to play tag on the rope and climb as fast as we can?” “Hmmm, sure.” NOTE(S) FROM THE AUTHOR
