2 Boston Scientific, Marlborough, MA Nov 2013 - March 2014 Contract, Endoscopy Department Worked with the Global Learning Design Managers on a special project to streamline and organize the documentation for their training classes and meetings. Analyzed and recommended improvements to the documentation structure as well as designed documentation to assist the Global Sales Trainers with locating previous trainings both internationally and nationally. Northeastern University, Boston, MA April 2012 - Nov 2013 Instructional Designer, NU Online Department Worked with subject matter expert faculty to create online courses based on current face-to-face courses to be delivered by multiple faculty across multiple campuses. In collaboration with the Director of Online Programs and the subject matter expert, established expectations and learning outcomes as well as design objectives and curricula according to online best practices. Delivered storyboard-ready content to be built in Articulate Storyline by an outside consultant. Built courses in Blackboard including overviews, learning objectives, materials, readings, assignments, and media for all weekly modules. Communicated with other instructional designers, management, and staff to provide ongoing support and evaluation of faculty and courses. Framingham State University, Framingham, MA 2006 – 2012 Education Technology Support & Training Coordinator, ET Office Worked collaboratively with faculty to design and develop course materials in alignment with course learning objectives for blended, online and technology-enhanced courses. Certified in Quality Matters course: “A pplying the QM Workshop and Peer Reviewer Certification .” Evaluated and trained faculty, staff, and students in the use of new and emerging technologies such as blogs, wikis, google docs, and delicious. Designed and implemented video tutorials for CMS using Camtasia and uploaded them into our online tutorial program called Atomic Learning. Lead the Blackboard Task Force along with the Director of Education Technology to evaluate the LMS compared to Moodle, Desire2Learn, Brain Honey, Sakai, and Canvas. Co-lead the pilot to evaluate the effectiveness of using the iPad2 as an e-text in the Biology Dept. Provided support and training to faculty and staff in the use of all Microsoft products.
