Results Overall, 1 and 10 % citric acid were a lot more efficient than EDTA or salt citrate at the three immersion times (P < 0.001); 10 % citric acid and sodium citrate was much more efficient compared to 1 % citric acid (P < 0.001). EDTA and 1 and also 10 % citric acid revealed lowering effectiveness with time, and the reduction was considerable for citric acid at both focus (P < 0.001).
