For the past 62 years, Findhelp Informaon Services has been a trusted hub of community informaon, connecng over 400,000 people annually to more than 60,000 services and supports in Ontario and beyond. Findhelp not only connects people to the services that they need but provides vital trend informaon for community planning and public benet. We strive to ensure that the complex systems that support our work are simple for everyone from the funder of a program, to the agency we refer to, and most importantly for the client. More than 17% of Findhelp’s 211 calls were from newcomers to Canada. Through partnerships with OCASI, COSTI and InformOntario we provided extensive training for the Orientaon2Ontario and BLISON projects. Findhelp has been working on new strategic direcons (as an alternave to a ‘strategic plan’) which will be launched and operaonalized later in 2014. Planning and transion for new technology soluons was a key theme in 2013-2014, including the redeveloped and relaunched www.211toronto.ca and www.211ontario.ca; new informaon management systems; and exploring of new telephony soluons. Findhelp and a fabulous provincial partnership team were successful in its applicaon to create and deliver a provincial volunteer gateway. We are looking forward to launching in 2015! In an eort to build soluons, Findhelp is examining all that we do with an eye on connual improvement, impact, quality and eciency. f Long-term projects ended and new ones have begun. New partnerships have been created and others have grown stronger. Our warmest appreciation goes out to our large network of supporters. Without our incredible team of sta, board members, volunteers, collaborators, funders and 27 data partners covering Ontario, all this would not have been possible. To our staff, you have connued to provide excellent services while helping us to navigate new territory, technology and unprecedented change with paence and enthusiasm.
