There’s more every year to a Golf Holiday than the previous one. Last year we initiated the series on As Golf As It Gets with a Golf Calendar. This year is no different. There is bound to be a repetition of ideas as some of them are timeless, but we hope that you will be able to find those streaks that should make 2015 stand out. This year, we’re also combining the Destination Calendar with our Annual Golf Events Calendar to make planning easier. There’s plenty happening in 2015 from the Classic Pro events to Amateur tourneys – both old and new. Read on for the complete list and plan ahead for a fantastic golfing year.
We've asked some well-travelled golfers about their favourite golfing trips with friends. Conversations with them threw up trip ideas and experiences that are so enticing, you'll find yourself making plans. But be forewarned, the list is not short, so this is again one for a new Golf Bucket List!

Please find the event details, final program, tournament rules and other useful information in this document.

Luckily for golfers everywhere, the doors to these fabulous resorts are open and welcome.
We love writing about great courses, the best destinations and perfect golf holidays. But we also know that what gets holidayers' attention the most, is value, stumping all other contenders. There's immense merit in stretching your money as far as it could go. For some, it could mean more trips in a year, for others it's the first golfing trip that has to fit a budget (without burning a hole for the next family holiday), for still others it means going on the trip of a lifetime without shortchanging the experience while paying a good price for it. Our Best Value Destinations feature is about the best destinations to go to, the best times to go and the best things to do for the greatest value.
The Ballantine's Team-Am is an established international golf tournament for amateurs, currently in its 5th edition, with one edition going up to 200 golfers. It moves to different locations each year, keeping the excitement alive. It has a popular format - 5 star stay, world-class golf, intense competition and party evenings. Sign up for the 5th edition of the series in Bangkok, Thailand from Oct 27-31, 2014. The entire package has been upgraded to a premium experience, at competitive prices. The stay is at Sofitel Sukhumvit - very opulent and well-located. The courses are Bangkok's top courses -Alpine, Riverdale and Lotus Valley. This year we're also introducing Van Transfers to the golf courses and back. 6 golfers to a van with more comfort and flexibility.
The call of privilege, a burst of uber indulgent living, otherworldly experiences and an utter abandonment of the world as you know it for a brief period in time. That for you is luxury to the hilt. With this edition of As Golf As It Gets, Luxury Golf gets its due. Sacred spaces that live and breathe golf history, some of the world’s most iconic courses and legendary golf – it’s all about Playing on Hallowed Grounds. This month’s As Golf As It Gets edition is a piece on not just wishing for some golfing action at some of the world’s greatest courses but actually playing them. If you’ve already played these courses, you understand the enriching experience that makes you want to go back for more. And if you haven’t then it’s time to make the pilgrimage.
Some places evoke a sense of wanderlust, a desire to explore new and unfamiliar territory and leave behind the known. The Far & Away Golf Holidays edition brings to you golf destinations that may or may not be proximate, but are relatively less known, less explored and less in the popular golf imagination. Yet they garner great interest in conversations and urge the golfer to explore more of his world.
