Cause = Effect Dreams = Goals ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS AND LIVE YOUR DREAMS Our introductory fitness program is designed to help each one of you prepare your body and mind for your final full season of youth soccer. The primary goal for this 60+ day program is to ensure that all of you are at an elite level of fitness by the time we compete in the Disney Showcase Qualifier at the end of August. Performing well at the August qualifier can provide you the opportunity to demonstrate your talents at a favorable recruiting showcase in December. Performing well at an elite showcase can increase the probability of being recruited to play at the collegiate level. With that being said, if getting recruited to play at the collegiate level is the “top of the mountain” (goal) that you desire to reach … then start looking at the step in front of you. Getting to the top of a mountain is accomplished one step at a time and while occasional glances at the top are great for motivation, losing sight of what each step in front of you requires is a surefire way to set yourself up for failure. Operate in the present and take the next step. The next step in front of you right now is to educate yourself on the content in this flipbook: Learn and apply the proper intensity/duration for each workout Learn and apply proper form for all exercises Track and record your progress Reinforce your internal drive to accomplish your dreams Commit yourself everyday Communicate teammate accountability Are your dreams worth the effort?
