Students will be exposed to a variety of careers and have opportunities to develop skills related to STEM Careers. Students will participate in design, problem solving, and group projects that will help build 21 st century learners. I & I will help students develop their competence, confidence, problem solving and professionalism related to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts. Course Goals: Develop an understanding of the nature of technology. Develop abilities to assess the impacts of technology. Demonstrate knowledge of and apply the engineering design and development process. Demonstrate knowledge of and skills related to the core technologies, the building blocks of the designed world. Demonstrate knowledge of the major enterprises that produce the goods and services of the designed world. Develop abilities to identify problems and develop solutions.
