Rose Booker Jones will be installed for the Iroquois River District. The offering taken at Rose’s installation service will be sent to UMCOR and has been desig- nated for Ebola response in Li- beria. If you have an offering to send for St. James’ contribution to this larger district offering, please bring it into the church office and it will be taken to Champaign on Oct. 5 th . (Make checks payable to IGRC designated Liberia Ebola Response. ) St. James will also designate the 2014 Christmas Eve offer- ing for Ebola response in Li- beria. In the midst of this growing health crisis, let’s remember: “With God, nothing shall be impossible.” Bits ‘n Pieces The United Methodist Women are hosting their annual Fall Bazaar and Luncheon on Thursday, November 6. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A turkey tetraz- zini lunch will be offered from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Donations for lunch are $8.50 each. The bazaar will feature for sale candy and bakery items, donated goods in their near- ly new shop, a variety of handmade crafts and Rada cutlery.
