“Excuse me,sir,” I caught his attention, “My mother’s making lasagna tonight, and she’ll tan my hide right on me if I don’t start setting up.” What I expected to be his obnoxious, nasally voice was nothing like that at all. “Waaah!” The noise I heard was blood freezing. It wasn’t a voice at all. It was a super high, blood curdling scream, but what I saw was so scary, I felt like I was going to faint. Meanwhile, I was so horrified I couldn’t tell whether I was screaming or not. The sky was covering with gray clouds, a frosty wind chasing me. Blotch by scratchy blotch, Frank’s skin was turning the same colors as the clouds. His shiny bald head was growing chalky brown hair, and his eyes rolled all the way back into his head, only exposing the white smears. Then I realised it; what I had thought was the back of his eyes was really the right side of his eyes. He was blind. I didn’t realize how long I had been staring until the creature went to let out another deafening scream, and I noticed his horrible, ugly teeth. They were rust colored stumps, and he had one gold tooth. I sprinted as far away as possible, but soon realized that there was no escape. Wherever I ran, Frank’s army of the undead was pursuing me. Then I decided that it was smarter to fight Frank than to run any farther. Everywhere I went, people’s loved ones were coming alive, and it wasn’t pretty. I began walking back, but then realized that I didn’t have to. Frank was only a few meters behind me. I frantically grabbed stone after stone and began hurling them at the beast, not even looking where I was aiming. Then I noticed something about my surroundings; It was absolutely silent. I opened my eyes. All I saw was a pile of dust, with a single gold tooth on top of it. I immediately knew what to do with it. After disposing of Frank, I got my friends, James and Sean, and explained. After that was over with, we went to the nearest metal forgery. That is when I did the honors of melting that disgusting gold tooth. That was also when disaster happened. As I watched the gold bubble in the cauldron of other metals, I felt a shove from behind. I fell, but, whirling around, I managed to grab the ledge in time. I looked up into James’s eyes, which seemed to be glowing orange since they were reflecting the boiling iron. I knew I was looking into the eyes of a demon. Meanwhile, Sean was trying to wrestle James over the edge. I then saw my opportunity. I scrambled back onto the ledge and landed a blow to James’s jaw. Turned out that was all it took. James was so stunned that he stumbled of the edge, and we were safe at last.
