Thump thump. Thump thump. Thump thump. I could hear the sound of my own heartbeat I was so nervous and silent. I was about to ride on the most popular roller coaster in the Enchanted Forest. I was very eager to slip into the plastic wood coaster. Swoosh. Another wood coaster slid down the water slide, fitting a whole family inside without seatbelts. The screams of joy I felt like I heard fifty times were starting to get to me. ‘ At least I have a better look at what is happening in the front of the line’ I thought. As always when nervous or excited, there was a pull in my chest in all directions. I had the feeling you get when you know something is going to be really cool. I was finally allowed to sit inside the wood coaster, so I sat down on the wet seat. While doing so I lowered my hand into the water. A slow, cool rush engulfed my hand. Now I understood why this ride was so popular. People screaming with joy rode down a fastmoving hill of flowing water. When they went to the end of the line to ride the roller coaster again, they were chatting wildly, soaked and drenched, but still happy. All the sudden, a jerk in the coaster told me that the ride was starting, and the fun had begun.
