Annelie Vandendael (BE) is concerned with loss of identity in the standard fashion photography, a genre where women are often heavily manipulated and edited until there is no trace of reality. For the young artist, it is imperfection and authenticity that makes an image interesting. She used those two ingredients for her latest series Sois Belle which means as much as ‘Be Pretty’. Photos were taken with an analog Hasselblad 6x6 cm, 80 mm lens*, and are printed on the highest quality of Lambda, attached on Dibond with small frame and mounting system (Except Lava. & Yellow.)
