2014 was an amazing year for OM Japan. We welcomed a couple and a single lady from Korea to our team and a healthy baby was born to an OM family working in Japan. We saw more than ten Japanese sent out into mission and had almost 80,000 visitors on board Logos Hope in Nagasaki and Kanazawa. As OM Japan, we also had a very encouraging annual retreat. Team members learnt a lot about member care and how to support one another. As well as some good times of fellowship, we set the foundation for a new leadership team to oversee the future ministry in Japan. This team will provide support for our current field leader and allow further growth for the ministry team. One OM team member took a step of faith and moved to Wajima, allowing OM a presence on the very tip of the Noto Peninsula. We’re looking forward to see how God is going to use her in this area which has only a handful of believers.
