Vocabulary and grammar will be covered every two weeks. The literary genres: short story, poetry, novel, and drama, will be studied and analyzed. Essay/task writing will be attached to each unit of study. This second level of drama deals with the acting side of theatre. The following units are part of the course: Auditions, Vocal/Dialect Acting, Acting Techniques, Performance Comparison, Theatre Production, Choreography, and Original Monologue. Students in this class are expected to be a part of the school play for the semester.
