Learn ‘ AFOREST’ so that you can impress an examiner by using some appropriate techniques in your writing: A lliteration F acts and gures O pinions (experts, role models or your own) R hetorical questions or R epetition E motive language S peaking directly to the reader/audience T ripling (rule of 3) Remember: Past papers from before January 2014 will have different timings and formats. Remember track and range , aim for at least 8 separate points per 10 mark answer. • Practise planning and writing in timed conditions, 45 minutes . Remember it needs to be a minimum of 450 words for a C.
