These standards relate to the level of performance required to provide resuscitation and respond to an emergency situation where there may be risk to life. Candidates must be able to perform four minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor to be able to complete the practical component of this course. Any aspect of an assessment that is incomplete or incorrect will need to be correctly completed by Candidate in order to successfully complete the Unit. Please read the Important Note to Candidates in this Brochure as well. I NTAKE Applications may be made any time. E XIT P OINTS A candidate will receive a Statement of Attainment for the Unit as partial completion of Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20211) as the Unit is extracted from the qualification. R ECOGNITION OF P RIOR L EARNING (RPL) SkillNet does not offer RPL for Apply First Aid Unit. C REDIT TRANSFER SkillNet will also provide Direct Credit Transfer to candidates who can supply a relevant Transcripts/Statement of Attainments issued by another RTO for the Unit, provided the Unit is still current. Please consult with Administration Manager on your enrolment for credit transfer. S UPPORT FOR STUDENTS SkillNet provides the following resources/services in support of all the qualifications: • Access to administrative assistance throughout the study • Access to academic support from the allocated qualification trainer/assessor via phone, facsimile and email throughout the study period. • Provide an induction class for new student • Tuition Fee payment support via instalment payment plan • Language and Literacy support C OURSE D EFERRALS OR S USPENSIONS Students wishing to defer the commencement of studies or suspend their studies must apply to do so in writing to the SkillNet. SkillNet may decide to suspend or cancel a student’s enrolment on its own initiate as a response to misbehaviour by the student.
